Preserving Wealth, My #1 Tip. Don't Get Married! (Or Maybe You Should?)

    NOTABLE!
@RHL I've said in many of my posts on this topic that I'm not opposed to people getting married. It's that they don't understand what they are getting into that I see as the problem. The horrific impact a divorce often has on a man or women that is the provider in a relationship is usually...

Starting my own Web Design company

    WEB/DIGITAL
I like the first version of the light bulb you had the best. I think you need to have the subtitle design + development because your name alone doesn't say it. I also prefer the name on one line. Too me looks cleaner and less busy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Creating a Notes App

    EXECUTION
SQL and noSQL both store data. You could make your app with SQL and it will work well. The advantage of noSQL is that each record is like its own internal dataset, and each record can be totally different which gives u a lot of flexibility. For instance you could store an image in one and...

    Creating a Notes App

    EXECUTION
Not sure where your at with all this but a nosql database might be a better option. Think of it like excel vs word. Your using excel essentially with SQL right now. Also meteor would be a bomb platform to build something like this with built in updates and the works. I seriously think someone...

    If You Were A Moderator

    HOT!
I'm not sure about other people, but the value of insiders for me isn't in having some special distinction, I could care less. Many people, including myself, have shared some very specific details of our businesses. I would never share some of this in an open forum because I want there to be...

App Idea - what to work on while waiting for App development?

    IDEA
Buy this book. http://tractionbook.com Read it. Then develop your marketing approach. If your time is not involved in development all of your efforts should be being put toward growing you brand traction and awareness. For a small business just starting out some of your best...

Discount cards, why is no one doing it?

Agree with Steve above. Damn twice in one week. A big part of it is that the world has changed since he was a boy. Back then there was no internet, groupon, few if any daily massed mailed coupons, etc. it was a great deal and sold itself because of scarcity. That scarcity does not exist...

20k cash. What business would you start?

    EXECUTION
Go to a third world SE Asian country, rent an office, and build out a kick a$$ dev team to build your own software and then hire out excess labor capacity. With the revenues you can continue to develop your own projects indefinitely with all your costs covered by the side work you do...

TL;DR; Find what makes you happy and then find people that have similar life desires and have also been successful..then try to copy they methods they have used to achieve this success. ----------------------------------------- The question I would ask first is, what is your relationship...

I think I should learn how to code. What's the quickest way?

    WEB/DIGITAL
My person recommendation would be to learn JavaScript. It's quickly becoming the language that works everywhere, and if you ever do any webapp development this is the only language web browsers all support native. Facebook has released react native which allows you to create native apps on...

20k cash. What business would you start?

    EXECUTION
I completely agree with @Kung Fu Steve The truth is that the money is irrelevant. It's the force behind the money that matters. If you want 20K to invest and passively grow with little or no effort, don't expect much. If you bust your butt, then carefully apply that 20K to round the...

20k cash. What business would you start?

    EXECUTION
Agreed with this. 20K for anything brick and mortar or local market is just a drop in the bucket. You might be able to create a business but this would be the type that's just a job masked as a business. For 20K i'd be looking to leverage the Internet only. Now if you up it to 200K...

@Iwokeup north Scottsdale anything north of Shea is nice. Paradise valley area. I've heard mixed things about fountain hills. Really pretty but rumors from kids I know is there is an excessive substance use there. Not sure if true or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    An interesting move by Amazon

Just saw this. Amazon is installing lockers at multi family units. Wonder what their game plan is. Is this for common products like instant delivery or controlled access? Interesting idea.
