How important is a brand story?

Really important. People buy from people. For a premium price I expect a little human connection , if I just want a doodad ill buy your competitors cheaper doohicky. Sell my human side , feed my need for emotional connection.

The MAIN difference between someone who makes 100k /year and someone who makes 1m?

    GOLD!
I'm going with "Habits, discipline, mindset" The best idea is worthless if you can't fund it because you have too many vices or you can't execute because you keep getting sidetracked or you can't scale because... Use the hotdog stand example, hard to scale but not impossible (ever hear of...

2019: Becoming Unemployable (Local Lead Gen)

    EXECUTION
Yeh but they also get thirty emails a day from marketers , hell my gmail filters the spam before I even see it. Cold outreach on linkedin , literally a site for networking and you'll see crappy response rates too. If it makes you uncomfortable its probably the thing you should be doing. Little...

Getting started with lead generation business

So pick the service youre thinking of and google "service lead gen" then checkout the competition. To answer the question though build the site and generate leads first , then you can give leads away upfront to grease the wheels on a sale. One thing to keep in mind is your ppc cost while your...

    Making an ecommerce/lead generation site

Yeh deal sites or sites touting "free stuff" Its not lead gen per se as its products not services , so you'll be making money as an affiliate marketer Find a niche say underwater basket weaving and then your site would be "underwater basket weaving deals" and its just an endless scroll of...

    Jet Ski Rental Companies

I have relatives that go fishing in mexico all the time and they say its difficult or impossible to rent a boat sometimes , not sure if its liability in those locations or no ones taken it upon themselves to fill the need. My experience in this industry is that jet ski's are tight and if I was...

Need some help deciding what to do now

Do that. Learning programming and accounting and leadership etc etc, thats all just resistance masquerading as useful behavior. I feel like sales is an umbrella skill that any entrepreneur will need and it could be useful as something to geek out about but i'm biased (also reading sales and...

    Florida Teachers Can What?

    RANT
Right and to get us back on topic for I fear we have veered away this is exactly why arming teachers is such an absurd answer. Only in "kindergarten cop" does a teacher with 5 year olds make a great candidate as a school shooting hero. And lets lets rem that simply arming the teachers was a...

    Florida Teachers Can What?

    RANT
Actually I answered toronto because I know in a shooting id probably get shot and not die. I was thinking about better healthcare outcome and cost (technically the best er to end up with if shot is in Philadelphia if memory serves just based on how oftenthe doctors deal with shootings) It didnt...

    Florida Teachers Can What?

    RANT
Yeh , I have 3 handguns a shotgun and a weird little 22 You ever read these articles about the police eho shoot everything but the target? Those are trained gun users who arent keeping up with training by going to gun ranges regularly. So what , we arm the teachers and require gun range...

    Florida Teachers Can What?

    RANT
Ive read about a few , for one the body counts lower so it doesnt get clicks Honestly though "good guy with a gun" is a dumb myth , unless they arm the teachers and have them hitting the shooting range a few tines a month theyll just as likely shoot students as an assailant when SHTF ...

    Florida Teachers Can What?

    RANT
another funny "gotcha" , they can find the money to arm the teachers but they can't pay the teachers a decent living wage (teachers do a lot for our kids, hell even a glorified baby sitter would cost me more to hire privately than they make) I'm not sure as far as whats actually required state...

I mean , were arming the teachers and my kindergardener did shooting drills. I think we're passed the point of weird suggestions being off the table.
