FYI for those of you on the fence for getting Google's Gemini pro plan, this is the last week to get 58% off for the year: one.google.com/ai-nye I did this before the New Year started. This is the $20 one thats discounted if you pay for the yearly plan. Which included the Antigravity and...

Yup I agree. I've been using it the past week or so. I like how it starts off the project with a plan, then creates the associated tasks. The agent then goes in order till each task is completed. I've redone 2 of my sites with this, just doing final touches. I've also barely touched the surface...

For ChatGPT, theres a section that has all the saved memories. Go to Settings -> Personalization -> Scroll down to Memory, then click on manage. From there you can see all the things that are saved to its memory. From there you can copy of the stuff thats been saved.

Yes it would. In the neighborhoods where I'm at. I see Christmas light installers all the time, around late October and through November. They install the lights then come January remove and store the lights for you.

I was going to say, stick to the tried and true methods like, create scripts with Python and then tie it in with analytics tools, something like Tableau. But from a forward thinking standpoint aka let's over engineer something. Then I'll say use Cloud services. With AWS(Amazon Web Services)...

    Recommendations for a password manager

    QUESTION
Good callout. With password managers you store more then just passwords. Stuff like API keys, license keys, social security numbers and, any kind of secure note can be stored. Basically any kind of info you may need access to will be safely secured.

    Recommendations for a password manager

    QUESTION
To tackle that single point of failure, I would highly advise some sort of 2 factor authentication. I ended up going 1 step further and am now using a hardware security key, YubiKey. I actually have 2, the 2nd one being a backup. So if someone wants to access my password manager, they will have...

Funny enough I just ordered the Starlink Roam mini yesterday. It just got shipped and will arrive Sunday. I ended up going this route rather the the Roam standard and residential for 2 reasons. 1. This will mainly be used when traveling. My wife needed a secure internet connection and her work...

From what I've seen is that devs deploy to one platform to start and sometimes they just stick to that platform. So pick either Apple or Google to start. This way you're only paying for one platform. The other thing to consider is that does it really need to be a phone app deployed to a app/play...

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
Just noticed that ChatGPT now has/brought back a internet search feature. Lately, I've been using Perplexity for my google searches, so I may end up using this and cancel Perplexity. https://openai.com/index/introducing-chatgpt-search/

    US dock worker labor strike

    SOURCING
Yup till Jan 15th. It's crazy that the union wanted a 77% increase in pay. Seems like they will "settle" on a 62% increase. This whole situation is a prime example of up-skill or die. Why not learn how the automation works? Become the mechanic and learn how to fix/maintain the automated...
