HOT! CHAThttps://tim.blog/2026/06/12/has-ai-already-killed-nonfiction/?utm_source=JoshSpectorNewsletter Some great thoughts from Tim Ferriss on AI hitting his book sales. And how he's still gonna write for the few who actually take action, rather than the bazillion folks who simply feed on short-form...- ZF Lee

The TikTok Chat Thread
MARKETING CHATPushing aside as much noise as I have heard on whether Tiktok 'penalises' videos that aren't recorded on its app...what I can agree with the official documentation out there, is that Tiktok tracks metadata pretty closely. That includes your video origins. And whatever edits you put on, such as...- ZF Lee

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATWhile a job backed by a degree can bring benefits like higher pay and networking...very sadly you'd be more likely to find more excuses not to get something 'extra' started outside your job. I wish that weren't the case. But there's something about the influence of spending time with certain...- ZF Lee

The TikTok Chat Thread
MARKETING CHATView: https://www.reddit.com/r/TikTok/comments/1tzs05d/regarding_the_0_fyp_views_issue_my_findings_after/ Hate to be a bummer, but this discovery is extremely disappointing. I really want Tiktok to be a great place for organic reach. And it has indeed spread the concept of shorts to the other...- ZF Lee

The TikTok Chat Thread
MARKETING CHATWhen I first started up my account, I did warm it up by following a few accounts, liking and commenting on posts related to my niche. For a day. Need to tell TikTok to give you posts related to your FYP, so you can always have content ideas.- ZF Lee

The TikTok Chat Thread
MARKETING CHATI'm still pissed at my Tiktok account being shadowbanned. After a few of my shorts got semi viral with 45k views and new followers, suddenly all my newest posts got cut off with 0 views. Not showing up on FYP. Account Check was clear. No content violations, whatsoever. Tried other technicals...- ZF Lee

Did A Stable Career Kill My Entrepreneurial Drive?
MINDSETNot all 'high income' jobs are created the same. Trades like plumbing? Yeah... as long people still screw up their toilets. HR jobs that can be killed off by the CEO when AI comes in? Nope. Actually one of the recent things I'm thinking of to buff up my email list for my health brand...was to...- ZF Lee

A cool example of how MJ's video on asymmetric risk just got me to think twice about what felt like a good chance in the moment, bad choice long-term
MINDSETWhen someone whom you thought could be your comfort and 'home' for a lifetime betrays all of these...that rage is understandable. It gets more horrible though if it happens when the GF/BF cheats on another, when no serious commitment are made yet at the dating stage. I'd rather just walk out of...- ZF Lee

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...
CHAT - AI -For direct requests to create images, ChatGPT still is my go-to. For Claude, there's a few more extra steps to tie it to other third-party tools with MCP and all. On that note, right after Claude declared its IPO comes this...- ZF Lee

EXECUTIONFired this one off at them when they shut off the ticket over the email side. Also been noticing many people on Reddit and other places crying at been struck by 0 views plague, even though they did nothing wrong. And the few Tiktok gurus whom I asked them about this...all are currently...- ZF Lee

EXECUTIONUpdate: Suddenly got shadowbanned on Tiktok, a few posts after my semi-viral Hantavirus posts. Posts all getting 0 views. No content violations. Account Checks all did not signal anything wrong. Since last week, I have tried out many recommended steps from AI and from other Tiktokers--...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATHere in Malaysia...petrol prices are still cents on the dollar. Even if you take away the BUDI95 subsidy that is only for locals (you need your IC card to access this at petrol stations). But even this might not last forever though. The bill is still tough to foot. There's already been talk on...- ZF Lee

ZF's progress thread
EXECUTIONUpdates (and struggles) 1. Got my first semi-viral Tiktok video for my stem cells brand, racking to 46k views,...then another 10k views for another follow-up video talking about Hantavirus and its discovery from the Korean War times. Roped in a handful of followers, but still far off from the...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATTurns out there is already a business out there that bakes cakes for you to send outreach messages to businesses https://coldcaking.com/ Call this Cake-As-A-Service? HOT! CHATDo you post it out on Tiktok as well? I feel that calling out 'here's how I create classical music in 5 simple steps' (or something like that) in the first few secs of the video would help folks better catch on. (also...what KIND of classical music would you like folks to be making) You can...- ZF Lee
