Moving to Bali
HOT! CHATyes, I'm currently based in KL. I think that if you still want the urban-based lifestyle but at a slower pace, KL is for you. You'll definitely be able to buy everything cheaper, access to more property categories (although it's more of a rental-favoured market here). Although Malaysians are...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATHonestly I dunno how he pulled the election comics without having the police knock on his door haha. We had other similar political artists get midnight calls before. Maybe it's because he exaggerated the funny sides of both political spectrums instead of merely jesting about one side alone...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATWow didn't expect a home-grown artist's work to hit TFLF. Ernest's works are awesome, especially when he turned the entire pandemic and elections into an anime-styled epic.- ZF Lee

Lex DeVille's: One Thread For All My Genius, Unhinged, Mostly Really Bad Ideas
GOLD! OFF-TOPICI realise I (and most men around me) admittedly have SOME of these flaws. The only way to solve all this is to model/shadow/be a mentee to someone who has done all these, and overcome the barriers. That was supposed to be done through the father/son roles, but back then not all dads started out...- ZF Lee

Challenging the Slowlane Mentality: Why I'm All-In on the Fastlane
SLOWLANE FTEI realise at the end of the day, it's all about what each of us truly value. And what we believe will make us really happy in time to come. The thing is...people can be unhappy in BOTH jobs and businesses. But I believe that the folks who do well in providing value for others, and giving to the...- ZF Lee

Is day trading consider unscripted move?
MINDSETAs someone who does it on the side (and sometimes write emails on it for clients lol)... Jump over to r/RealDayTrading and read what the mods have to say about it. These are folks who have gone through many market cycles...and they largely agree that it takes TWO years to learn the ropes and...- ZF Lee

The lifestyle, hobbies, and fun thread.
HOT! CHATI’m not very huge in gaming, but I somehow cracked and bought Helldivers 2. Probably my FIRST ever PC game purchase…the other paid games I’ve ever had was Minecraft and Arknights on mobile. The game has been receiving some heat currently for some weapons nerfed and other bugs…but when I hopped...- ZF Lee

We have lost one of our own - RIP @Wolfman
RIP…I do wish I have more of those kind of friends where you can talk everything under the sun— both online and offline. Also thanks for the reminder that time comes and goes. I find myself these days in a bad mood when so many problems and slowdowns from other parties I work with come about...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATI think we can do Strategy A, but long enough to gain enough experience/connections/whatever resources to do Strategy B. If we look back at MJ's example, he started working as a limo driver that most likely would take the Strategy A option of working and persisting for many years to make it...- ZF Lee

INTROWelcome James. Wonderful for a first share, and glad MJ's books helped you a bunch! IMO, Lean Startup and Zero to One are decent reads. But we can all appreciate how down-to-earth MJ gets into what we dislike or feel angry about the current world we live in. I think it's great that you are...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATI just recently came back from a high school reunion...and I realised many of my former school mates who came by were in the stages of getting 'numbed'. NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHATCharles Duhigg's books 'Power of Habits' and 'Supercommunicator' Picked up the latter because I realised I could do better to eke out more intel from key people in my line...and the former just to see how Duhigg does his works.
