How a Girl can make you take action

    MINDSET
If you're doing something to gain the affections of a woman and that's it then you don't value yourself. Use the analogy MJ uses re the exclusivity of money when you chase it as being that cat in the tree. Same applies to women and having a scarcity mindset.

Need advice in exhausting online advertising for psychotherapy practice

    MARKETING
If I can somehow offer 'carrots' to doctors even just 2 I' d be made. The way it is here in my city people can get therapeutic services through the government auto insurance provider (this isn't advertised). All we need is a doctor's note that the person is suffering from motor vehicle related...

Definitely helpful especially the idea of going to mixers w potential referral sources - this is huge in fact right now i work with trauma and all my clients come from a doctors referral I do offer a free consultation and online counselling. I also have 3 locations so I have access to a wide...

I agree Skype counselling may be a good thing to promote on my site + advertising campaigns. Not sure about posting client sessions online, even if I do have their permission and blotch them out it is definitely in the grey area of ethics where I am at. I am thinking doing some VLOGing on hot...

My web copy/site - not sure if I am missing the mark, critiques wanted

    WEB/DIGITAL
I am a psychotherapist and my niche is codependency and attachment issues in relationships. My website is www.lighthousecounselling.ca, and was hoping somebody would be generous enough to tell me what's good and what sucks w my web copy, and site as a whole. ANY advice with this would be...

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I have around 12 clients atm, most of which insist on giving me positive reviews and have stated how positive an impact the therapy has had on their lives. So I guess some disciples. I just can't help but think I am missing something promotion-wise. I know...

Such a saturated niche where I live. I chose a niche; relationships w a specific focus on codependency and attachment-related issues. In short, I'm the guy who helps you get unstuck in your relationships. I'd created my own website (www.lighthousecounselling.ca) - please feel free to...

Developing an algorithm which matches people with psychotherapists (thoughts wanted)

    HOT!
The upside for the subscribed therapist is to have clients best suited to their persona. When i imply matching personas, I'm not saying at all to match an extraverted client with an extravert therapist. Rather, a client who (self)-rates as being in low in motivation, to be paired with a more...

Developing an algorithm which matches people with psychotherapists (thoughts wanted)

    HOT!
I've decided to just create my own survey, but based on the 'best' scales from a variety of pre-existing surveys so it has at least some validity.

What type of survey software to embed in website?

    WEB/DIGITAL
So basically the idea is to have a person take a survey on my site, and then have their score compared to multiple other scores (One-way ANOVA I am assuming is the stat method to use). I've never embedded surveys into a website, so if someone can point me in the right direction to achieve this...

Developing an algorithm which matches people with psychotherapists (thoughts wanted)

    HOT!
I understand peer reviewed, I misunderstood what you'd said as it also implies the tool/test is protected some how. Short of contacting the researchers, is there any way to determine if the test is patented?

Developing an algorithm which matches people with psychotherapists (thoughts wanted)

    HOT!
So peer reviewed implies whatever tool was created (even if based on another tool) implies patent protection? All I can find is that the test in question was 'proposed' by 2 researchers.

Developing an algorithm which matches people with psychotherapists (thoughts wanted)

    HOT!
Does anyone know what are the rules about using psychometric tests w/o patents for a business such as mine? The test I want to use was presented in a peer reviewed paper, and is based on a bigger, more mainstream test that is in fact patented.
