How Necessary is a Business Plan, Really?

    HOT! QUESTION
I haven't sold anything. Hence me mentioning that I'm only in the planning stage, sorry if that wasn't clear. I am trying to figure out how to go about the beginnings of this whole process and worse case scenario, I fail this idea but I learn how to go about the startup process for future endeavors.

How Necessary is a Business Plan, Really?

    HOT! QUESTION
I see; I appreciate your two cents! This whole process is very intimidating to me and I feel like I have been doing too much justification of thinking, learning, and watching on how to go about this process where I am fed up and just want to start. Because all I've done at this point is the...

How Necessary is a Business Plan, Really?

    HOT! QUESTION
If according to you that plan is not the best, in this case if I needed to present this marketing plan to someone that could provide me a loan wouldn't the lack of finances in the plan throw them off? My only worry is making sure I can prove to someone that my investing in me and my business...

This template you provided is very well thought out and written. How many pages do you on average make this template into?

How Necessary is a Business Plan, Really?

    HOT! QUESTION
I am amidst the process of forming my first ever business legally and am stuck. I've read all Demarco's books and I've read and agreed with the times where he would not advocate for business plans saying that they're a waste of time and what not. But being a college student who has $400 to their...

How can I know when an idea is too far fetched?

    FEEDBACK
So, don't strive for this big idea I have just yet? Achieve smaller victories before taking on the final boss? All I have going on for a side hustle as of right now is being apart of the Amazon Influencer Program (yes I know it is not a controllable business and I rely on their platform) and...

How can I know when an idea is too far fetched?

    FEEDBACK
A few days ago, I posted on this forum about a website idea I had that after doing the market research and digging, felt that it could be a real good path into the beginning of my true fastlane journey. But after some thinking and helpful advice from others on the forum, I realize that this idea...

How can I achieve my desired service-based website?

    WEB DESIGN
pcpartpicker.com does not have any upgrade feature from what I've seen. And I've used that website for years. Nor do they have a dedicated "input your budget, needs, and here's your part list." They seem to be the "if you know what parts or what to look for in parts, use me" website

How can I achieve my desired service-based website?

    WEB DESIGN
Admittedly, all this newfound knowledge is very, very overwhelming and makes me question my next step. I'm debating on whether I should take this as a sign to find other ways to "Fastlane" myself or if this is a sign to stick out because the hard things in life will be the most profitable...

How can I achieve my desired service-based website?

    WEB DESIGN
Would you say this is attainable to make myself or is there just too much for my current knowledge level to do ANYTIME soon? I found a similar website that claims to do what I want but has very little traffic with no recent updates; seems abandoned: envybits.com - build your custom computer...

Is this API attainable by learning "on the go" or is this something I will need to research and hopefully find or have to possibly outsource?

How can I achieve my desired service-based website?

    WEB DESIGN
See there is no way that I can raise enough funds to hire a developer though for my scenario, even though I'd love to. Funds are limited as almost all my income goes towards tuition, rent, gas, or groceries.

How can I achieve my desired service-based website?

    WEB DESIGN
Did some more digging based off your reply. Being super conservative one of my biggest competitors pulls in about 700,000 visitors a month. Lets say I only can reel in about 30,000 a month and of that 30,000, only 10% decide to actually buy using the commission links. With the average...

How can I achieve my desired service-based website?

    WEB DESIGN
I've seen those websites. They seem to do some but not all of what I wish to achieve. pc-kombo.com will provide a PC build based off a budget, no other factors. Logical Increments provides a list of parts per budget. PCpartpicker offers the holy grail of making your own PC build or recommends a...

How can I achieve my desired service-based website?

    WEB DESIGN
So I'm currently 20 years old in college and have been trying different side hustles and businesses throughout the past 3 years but recently I have realized I need to think more with the intent to scale limitless. I have a concept for a service-based website that I'm passionate about however I...
