Tasks for a VA to do?

    PEOPLE
I would recommend Jing (desktop app) + Screencast (online hosting) for screen capture. I do this for all my outsourced tasks, such as web development, design, research and other VA stuff. It takes less time than to put it in writing, and most importantly it is way easier for your workers to...

The Miracle Morning Podcast - Weekly Motivation

    MINDSET
To answer my own question, Entrepreneur On Fire is amazing too. Really enjoy listening to John Lee Dumas and his guests. Most episodes are in the half hour range.

The Miracle Morning Podcast - Weekly Motivation

    MINDSET
Foreverjobless is a great podcast! I listened to about 120 episodes and learned tons about business and life in a few weeks! Are there any entrepreneur podcasts with similar format? I really like that the length of these episodes is just 3-6 minutes for the most parts. I get lost when listening...

How do you control what you eat?

    HEALTH
I had struggled with an unhealthy relationship with food all my life. I used to binge eat pizza, chocolate and potato chips. I would consume 1200 calories in 5 minutes without even noticing. I ate too little fruits and veggies. I didnt know how to cook. I had also tried dozens of diets and many...

    Anyone learned speed reading?

I am currently taking a course at Udemy covering this topic. Its called "Become a Superlearner - Speed reading and memory techniques". Only completed 35 % so far, but its looking promising. If the content looks interesting to you, just wait for (or find) a good discount code to save a ton of...

    Can Akdeniz' books?

    BOOKS
I StumbledUpon this blog post "recommending" tons of books of the same author. They are all relatively new, with few (but good) ratings on Amazon. The content seems interesting enough, but this disguised blog post advertisement makes me wonder if the reviews might be biased as well. Did anybody...

    21 Years Old - Process / Lessons / Wake-Up Call

    MINDSET
Good post, Original. All I can do is to wish you the best of luck. You have identified your problems and you seem to have a great mindset and perspective of life, so I am sure it will get better if you keep working hard on all fronts (business, self-education, health).

What Magazines Do Fastlane Millionaires Read?

    HOT!
I'm surprised almost nobody mentioned The Economist until now. It's about the only magazine I read, but I want to start reading Entrepreneur, INC and a few others once I get more time.

Death of a startup within 4 hours of launch

That service would be awesome. The reason I rarely read newspapers any more is that I only care about 5 % of the content and give a damn about the rest. For $2 this sounds like a steal. Without knowing anything about the legal issue, it surprises me if this would actually be legal without the...

    A Monthly Ejuice Subscription Service

    EXECUTION
I'm in a rush so I have not read the comments above me. More than likely somebody has mentioned this already, but here we go: The site looks pretty awful in general The main banner on the site (Get started) is too big and confusing. Pay somebody on Fiverr 5-10 bucks to make a professional...

The Profit, entrepreneur business turnaround show on CNBC

    HOT!
Great show! Thanks a lot to OP for letting us know about this program. Hard to find any series on TV to learn from nowadays. I think The Profit is way better than any of the "fix your business" shows. The thing I like the most about it is that you get to know a lot of different businesses and...

Best webshop solution for my specific business?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Yeah, I am starting to realize that. I guess I am too picky and have too many needs for a standard solution :) Still, I want to pick the one that is closest to my needs, so I dont need to spend an enormous amount of time and money to customize it. Shopify and BigCommerce are simple and great...

Best webshop solution for my specific business?

    WEB/DIGITAL
I am still undecided about which ecommerce solution to go for. I honestly didnt think this was going to be a problem given the abundance of options, but it looks like its hard to find the "perfect" fit. I have tried Prestashop, Shopify, OpenCart, Bigcommerce, but I am not convinced. It is very...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (2012)

    GOLD!
Fantastic thread. It took me about a week to get through the whole thing, but it was the ~5 best educational hours I've spent ever, including 4 years of college.

Best webshop solution for my specific business?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Hello all I made a search and this has been discussed a lot before, but I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the options and I still do not know which of the solutions would be best for my upcoming e-commerce site. It will be an exclusively online store with around 500 items to start with. It will...
