Human Longevity Breakthroughs, Resources, and Websites

    NOTABLE! CHAT
One of my favourite threads that I haven't checked into for a while. Need to read the "wait but why" articles (he's done 4 relating this subject, including the cryonics one).

Okay, looks like we've ended up with 4 takers, so I can't do any more at the moment. (If @Square1Hype PMs me) Haha! Yeah exactly the same here lol. Good point on the John Doe covers, I will do that when I build the website I think to add to the portfolio.

This could extend the market opportunities, so yes. Send me a PM and we'll see what happens. NOTE: that's the 2 spots currently occupied (scale problem? or just easy to fill when free?). So The next few posts in this thread will be updates. (unless @Square1Hype doesn't PM me of course ;-) )

Need a book cover designed? I'll do it for free.

    PUBLISHING
I could, but if I do that it will give my pen names away. I also don't want my designs to be linked to my writing directly. If someone disagrees with one of my books, they may not like to buy my designs is what I'm thinking. @AndrewNC has PM'd me, so there is room for 1 more.

    Paralyzed by your environment?

If I was still in the UK, a 3 month jaunt to the emerald isle would be perfect. I love the concept.

Update: If you have a book in either the Horror, Sci-Fi, or other more potentially challenging genres to compose a cover for, I can take your project. No longer taking requests on: Non-Fiction, or Romance (including ero). I've come to the point in my book cover designing progress (I've done...

    EXECUTION
I'm back! This challenge was not sustainable and I burnt out after finishing book 2. After reading "Mini-habits (check it it out, can't recommend it highly enough) " I can see why I failed. I haven't given up on writing (2 new books are almost ready to be published). I'm not earning much...

Can you buy a "Bond"? / Any ideas about this would be much loved.

    IDEA
http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/244183 This Handy Robot Holds a Pen and Writes Exactly Like You Do Does anyone know if you can buy one of these or something similar? Or, even a way to make my own? I've been scouring google and the only thing I've really found is bond's website (bond.co)...

    EXECUTION
Quick/short update: Had some side activities/distractions to take care of, but have now designed about half of the covers. Each book cover I make seems to get better. Writing hasn't been very good word count wise. Mainly because I'm writing a short outline for each book (almost as many of those...

    Sidewalk rant.

Sorry about that. I really did feel like going on a massive rant when I started typing the thread, then it subsided. Anyone ever done that, just closed the window and gone to bed? What happened? That's what this thread is now about.

    Sidewalk rant.

Putting this in the sidewalk forum because ranting is surely a sidewalk pastime. ............................ I actually felt like going on a long rant before posting this, then it seemed to fade; maybe I'm getting somewhere. Perhaps that could be the basis of the thread? EDIT: Maybe not.

    Fastlane Wallpapers!

    OFF-TOPIC
I've been looking for something like this for a long time! Thank you very much! All the wallpaper sites (and even google/bing images) tend to have lots of rubbish in this regard.

One more thing I want to try before worrying about doing any more publishing is; take the same draft and run it through Hemingway. This will show me the difference between the 2 programs and help me decide if I want to go for a full PWA license. I also want to see what the difference between...

52 books in 52 weeks. Writing them.

    EXECUTION
I've spent all the time I could playing with PWA today. Productive? No. Taught me anything? Yes, a lot! I put a whole story (about 10,000 words) into it, and it threw 1400 errors at me. By the time I got it down to a reasonable level, it cemented into my head the areas where my writing needs...
