What Color Ferrari Should I Buy? (I Have Twenty Bucks)

    GOLD! MINDSET
This is a video of a 60 minutes special on Nick Saban, head coach of Alabama football. It had a big impact on me when I first saw it. IMO, it greatly sums up where one's focus should be. Keep in mind, this is a guy who could just "dial it in" and cruise, but he refuses to.

    Finish My Book and Publish

    PUBLISHING
The book cover is done and in my possession. It turned out better than I could have imagined. I ended up with three covers that were all based around the same design, the only difference being that each one uses the same colors, just in different places (hard to explain without showing you). I...

    Amazon visibility for new books.

    PUBLISHING
Based on all the research I've done via the web and reading books, beyond genres and things outside of your control, the following are what drive book sales: 1. Book Cover/Title: Title should build intrigue, or at least be easy to remember. Book cover should be unique for your genre. Look at...

    Amazon visibility for new books.

    PUBLISHING
My strategy is along these lines. My first book will be out in a month or so. I'm publishing it under contemporary fiction, the reason being is it's what's most suited for my voice, and I'm also much less "boxed in" as I would be in a genre like romance or fantasy. It is a feast or famine genre...

After Selling His Startup For $25m People He Barely Knew Started Calling...

    FUNNY
I definitely see the benefit, though you give up control when you have a landlord. In 2012, I lived in 3 different places before I closed on my place and had to move out of all three due to various issues outside of my control. My long-term strategy is a bit different than many, and it's based...

After Selling His Startup For $25m People He Barely Knew Started Calling...

    FUNNY
Correct me if I'm wrong, but HOAs usually charge a fee as well. That's how they pay for maintenance to the gate, security, pool, etc. So, not only will they bitch about your yard not getting mowed in a timely manner, they will charge you a monthly to do it. I know for a fact that you always pay...

World Cup 2014 - Who are you picking?

    OFF-TOPIC
As long as France doesn't have a total meltdown like they did last time. They were one of the favorites in the last tourney  I am proud to say that I picked Spain to win the last one. I haven't been following much this go (I've been focused), but it's statistically unlikely that Spain will...

how do you have time for everything on 24 hours?

    HOT!
I could write for an hour on this subject, but here's a shortened version. EADDD= Eliminate, Automate, Delegate, Do, Defer Everything starts with Elimination. Decide first what you aren't going to do. What are you willing to give up? Outside of luck, there is no success without giving...

    Recently Sold On eBay...Got 1st Case/Dispute/Refund Request

    HOT! PEOPLE
I sold a Windows phone on Ebay recently, "like new" condition. Windows phones are the easiest smart phones to use out of all the platforms. The user decided she wanted to return the phone, of course using broken English (no one knows how to F*cking spell anymore), because she didn't know how to...

    Recently Sold On eBay...Got 1st Case/Dispute/Refund Request

    HOT! PEOPLE
A polite way of saying "fewer dumb asses". I have noticed Ebay get much worse over the last 1-2 years. More returns, more people who win an auction and decide they don't want to pay. It's just not worth the time and effort anymore.

    Ideas for fast cash?

    IDEA
I guess it depends on how much cash you need. If you have no problem paying interest, credit cards are the easiest. Another option is Kabbage.

    Recently Sold On eBay...Got 1st Case/Dispute/Refund Request

    HOT! PEOPLE
Which is why I may never sell another product on ebay again. Ebay could care less about their sellers. Customers do almost whatever they want, and buyers know this.

That track is one of the greatest displays of rap talent I have ever heard.

    What does your avatar mean?

    OFF-TOPIC
Your avatar is one of the best on the board. All the sloth memes are hilarious to me. I have actually thought about getting a poster of this and putting it near the front door so everyone who enters my house has to see it. Not for their sake, just for my own amusement.

    What's In Your Shaker?

I just looked this up. Looks good, price per pound is fine. I'm interested in the chocolate. How does it taste?

    What's In Your Shaker?

I have heard this from others too. My mentality has been burn some fat first, then add muscle. Okay, what you say sounds like a good plan.

    What's In Your Shaker?

The guy who recommended Lean 1 lost 80 pounds, and that was a part of it. My goal is to have a shake that will work as a meal replacement, ideally morning or lunch, that will aid me in losing around 15 pounds. I'm 5'10", 175, trying to get down around 160. Then, the plan is to build muscle...

    What's In Your Shaker?

For those who drink protein shakes, I'm curious to know what is going in your shaker. The main reason I am curious is to see if there's something better I can be using, or something new I can add. I use 2 scoops of Lean 1 chocolate (which is the powder that Smoothie King carries), spoonful of...

Writing come to a halt. Questions.

^This is good advice. Another good option is to take a break and put yourself in a different environment for 3 or 4 days. You'll be refreshed and have a new perspective.
