MEETUPSAnd watch them disappear after a day... where no-one can find them. No that’s not a solution. There does seem to a grouping area under the main thread feed. Eg Web Design as a hustle. An App Design as a hustle section would be ideal. I can use the Meetups grouping for Fastlaners from Ireland...- Hadrian

Learning to make an app
Yes indeed! I’m an indie app dev. who’s learning everything the hard way. The first thing I’d say is don’t build an app until you have some kind of concrete market validation. It’s almost guaranteed someone’s already doing your idea via app or web. The second thing I’d say is be very wary of...- Hadrian

Any spiritual or religious folks?
OFF-TOPICBrilliant.... looks like you may have found your Spirit Animal.... or more likely it was just a series of interesting coincidences. :peace: Hmmm the only unusual experience I had was when I encountered one of our Jedi style Faith healers.. and he was able to use force-healing to cure a medical...- Hadrian

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!
NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHATThe Hidden Spirituality of Men: Ten Metaphors to Awaken the Sacred Masculine by Matthew Fox. It is no secret that men are in trouble today. From war to ecological collapse, most of the world’s critical problems stem from a distorted masculinity out of control. Yet our culture rewards the very...- Hadrian

Apple to lose Control of App Store?
HOT!Great opinions here and even better to see a genuine conversation rather than the Polarisation black/white discourse which seems to be the order of the day lately... My main concern is a Cartel like ecosystem... as here in Ireland we have a small number of car insurance companies and their...- Hadrian

Praise in public. Criticise in private.
hah yes that’s why I haven’t taken Kak to task yet for his (at times) misguided political philosophy and the soft-target oligarchs he’s lambasting. The business advice is Terrific though! @Kak Plus he sent me a free book! :p- Hadrian

Apple to lose Control of App Store?
HOT!Now Facebooks getting Into the fight! https://techcrunch.com/2020/08/14/facebook-vs-apple/ I’m an indie app dev and do like the Apple App Stores quality! But I also hate their inconsistent Review Policy! Kak has a podcast supporting Apple and Google’s control as they went to the trouble of...- Hadrian

WTF is going on in America? Ray Dalio may have The Answer.
RANTFrom an outside perspective: I can’t decide if it’s more like the fall of the Roman Republic, or the fall of the Roman Empire! Seems like a bit of both... would like to see it turn around as I do like the American Vitality and can do attitude!- Hadrian

Something blew TFU in Beirut
OFF-TOPICI hope it was was an accident (maybe a fuel/Gas tanker?) but if you know the History of Lebanon you'll know the odds are stacked against. "Pity the Nation" by Robert Fisk is without doubt the best book written about Lebanon. Required Reading for anyone living in the USA where one side controls...- Hadrian

MASKS: To Wear or Not to Wear? You decide!
HEALTHThere's no debate on Masks, no matter how Ideologically or Religiously insane parts of the USA have become. It's a Binary result of True (1). And you don't have to be a doctor to know a virus that's transmitted primarily from a persons mouth can be largely or completely blocked from spreading...- Hadrian
