Launched to Crickets...Best way forward is?...

    HOT! MARKETING
This was my impression as well. I read the Elon Musk solar panels and want some to! I went to the page, looked at it for about 10 seconds then lost interest and came back to this thread. Now, I'm not your target audience but if I was, no one knows the person giving the advice. It's like saying...

    Fastlanedating

    MINDSET
Thanks all... pretty much what I thought. The pretty domain name, at least this day in age is just something you buy to make yourself think you're doing something as opposed to building a brand.

    Fastlanedating

    MINDSET
I think many of us have come across this question. What's in a domain name? Early internet adopters that were able to pickup names like cars.com, etc.... at minimum could have sold the domain for a small fortune. These days most of the big names are sold, and now it's come down to paying 2k+...

Is it okay to help people for selfish reasons?

    MINDSET
I always thought this as a good thought experiment. When is helping others not selfish? When you help others you feel better about yourself. If you felt guilty about helping others people wouldn't do it, so helping other people in and of itself can be seen as a selfish act since you're making...

The mindset of a fastlaner is a loser

    MINDSET
Today I found myself in my own basement cleaning (again) to make everything look organized. I just moved into it about a month ago, to my own basement, as outlined in this thread : https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/threads/no-mortgage-payment-with-your-first-home.69389/ You can tell...

    $100 Copywriting Contest...

    HOT! MARKETING
Sure, but there's also millions of other dogs that need saving so why stop at just this one? Even billionare philanthropist's can't help all of the dogs that need help. I've fostered a few and have donated to this particular case. Just by this post it shows MJ is interested in helping this dog...

How to lose your best friend in 1 hour

    PEOPLE RANT
Your conscience is in the clear if you were transparent with your intentions during the whole process. If he agreed to let you use his idea then got upset when you began making a profit off of it that simply means you bruised his ego. You showed him that he could have made money off it. Instead...

No mortgage payment with your first home

Thanks! Yes I've read through those as well, great info in them. Since I posted yesterday I've already increased my bookings by $594 for a total of $2419.

No mortgage payment with your first home

There's a lot of people that rent them out only during certain months of the year then live in them the rest if they have more than one home.

No mortgage payment with your first home

It depends on the area, but for my home I currently get around $120-200/night. Renting it out I would only profit around $400, 1200 total. So for me it makes sense to go the AirBnB route. Like you said, you could also get a duplex or a quad even, rent out the other units and live in the last...

No mortgage payment with your first home

Thanks @biggeemac So far : $291 $197 $231 $384 $342 $380 $1825 - So this has payed my mortgage + an extra grand for this month. This is what I currently have booked and some have already stayed. This is after only having it listed for about 1 1/2 weeks. They also have services that collect...

I've lost my identity as person (Legendary follows...)

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
Creating a website and selling products is great, I've done it more than once but so have millions of others. Of course if you find the right secret sauce it can be a huge success. You know what else can be a huge success? Getting laid, or rather advice on how to. That's right, being single is...

    Monetizing gaming streaming/videos

I think it's splitting hairs defining if this is or isn't fastlane. Ultimately you can make a large income from playing video games, given if you're absolutely damn good at said games and it becomes your entire lifestyle, but most money in gaming is selling the games not playing them. Your...

No mortgage payment with your first home

As a follow up, I just listed my home yesterday. I already have 1 booking and 1 interest. If the interest books, I'll already have about $700 worth of bookings. Mortgage is around ~800 total (tax/insurance). I've had an oven/stove, fridge, and dishwasher installed in the basement and purchased...

    Dealing with stress.

    HEALTH
This. Exercise is a great way to defuse stress. Taking some time off occasionally is important. There's been various studies done on those who constantly work and those who take a few hours for themselves a day. The breaks help you to relieve stress and you become more productive and focused...

    7 Years and No Action

    RANT
It doesn't matter if you've procrastinated for 7 years or 40 years. What matters is what you do today. Just remember that for most of us, battles are not won on some multi-million dollar contract. They aren't won in an Olympic arena or scoring some big movie contract. They are won with everyday...

    Instagram + FollowLiker Journey

    SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTION
How are the accounts going? I've got one up to 18k from 0 using instagress. From reading this thread, it sounds like followliker you can download a bunch of pictures and have it post from a folder of them? Instagress I've had to manually post each one with Gramblr.

Laid off. Need a new temporary engineering job. How to use linkedin effectively?

If companies aren't hiring until the election is over someone forgot to tell the companies in Atlanta looking for Engineers. I swear I get spammed by recruiters for positions every day. Actually just today I got 2 asking if I was looking.
