Are you an A player or a B player?

If the definition of "A Player" is the person in the role of business owner or entrepreneur, then I'm an "A Player". But I don't think that is sufficient differentiation to really define anyone, at least if doesn't seem that way IMO. I haven't read a lot of Gary Vaynerchuk though, so I'll admit...

Companies are entities, and hide behind human resources. They have no soul.

Very well put. I couldn't agree more. Thank you indeed.

    No credit checks..

    EXECUTION
Me too. I don't think it's a good business model for me personally, but then I don't "we" should legislate everything "we" dislike out of existence. It would seem that many people choose to voluntarily engage in this business practice. They must prefer this option to their other choices. My...

That is one sweet tow truck. Wow. I had to watch a couple other vids with that model too! I had a friend with a towing service many years ago and I've ridden along a couple times, but he wasn't in the repo business.

Got no sales yet, what do you think about my website?

    WEB/DIGITAL
I think the product has merit, I could see my wife buying half a dozen of various versions. With this feedback on your website, you'll get it cleaned up in no time. Keep up the actionable efforts and you'll make progress. Good luck.

Own a Business? Answer Your Damn Phone

    NOTABLE! PEOPLE
The key words in this situation are "required", "government" and "certified". The labs listed don't have to do anything to get customers and as a result they don't care about the customer. The government has required that this work be done and lists these labs as the only approved suppliers...

Fastlaner's Guide To GETTING HUGE! (Fast of course!)

    HEALTH
This is the best advice in this thread thus far, IMHO. I'll admit that I've only recently begun to work out, but I've been consistent for 8 months now. That's better then your typical middle age guy that starts a workout program, so I'm proud of my progress. I've been researching different...

Should I have a lawyer go over a Heads of Agreement?

Vig is right. Ask around, find a competent lawyer, get a real contract. Money well spent.

Sooo, let's see if I understand this correctly. Your business partners took away all of your responsibilities, but left you with the same portion of stock in the company??? They do all of the work and you still get to collect revenue when the profits are distributed...or are they setting up...

Alright Fastlane Forum.. Help me land this deal

    MARKETING
Great thread, I can really empathize with the startup identity...though not with the youth aspect. Congrats on your progress to date. Remember that if this deal falls thru, you've gained some valuable experience and the next one will be a walk in the part! Looking forward to more updates!

    What did you do today?

    EXECUTION
What did I do today? Since it's early in the morning yet, I'll rehearse what I did yesterday. I have several pieces of equipment that I will be using for prototyping my physical products. I spent 4 hours last night working on the latest piece of equipment that I've found. It's still got a way...
