Popeyes Sandwich: Amazing Product, Marketing, or a Bit of Both?

    MARKETING
I didn’t actually know about the Janet Jackson thing I first saw some blogs and or memes relating to what I think (could be wrong) were tweets or something from Popeyes having a dig about being open on Sundays as opposed to Chick Fil A. Which I thought was an interesting angle to target from...

Popeyes Sandwich: Amazing Product, Marketing, or a Bit of Both?

    MARKETING
Yep spot on, they smashed social media with it and it got a lot of press, haven’t seen it either but it was a fantastic “launch” of a movie so to speak from a marketing perspective. Very cool that they’ve created that level of demand thanks for sharing that! Every single thing happening...

Been all over the internet the last few weeks, what will be interesting is how well they can capitalize on it moving forward.

    Not sure on the quality of the product as I haven’t had it but I’m with you on the conspiracy theory, some great PR being done for their brand. A tweet I just saw shared on a big NFL Facebook page;

    NOTABLE! MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
Instagram are cracking down on bots which is a good thing, there's a simple technique for liking and commenting. Do the liking and commenting yourself. Be authentic and organic about it. You can't hack the system.

The Undercover Billionaire: Building a $1m business in 90 days

    HOT! MINDSET
This would still work and be an interesting You Tube series I reckon, doing a couple a year in different cities around the world, being able to share the unique challenges of that city, language barriers, local ways of doing things, and overcoming all those obstacles. Don’t let go of that idea...

    Dealing with fakes

    PEOPLE
I should add, if your worried about friends and family trying to sponge off you, it’s easy. They see your business grow, see you drive a nice car, live in a nice area, dress better than ever, so they think they can get a hand out? Just tell them sorry, all my moneys tied up in business and...

    Dealing with fakes

    PEOPLE
I don’t advocate it for anyone, it’s an opinion based on what you write. You have every chance of making it, the sooner you write less, have less opinions, and actually get started as an entrepreneur the better. My first comment was all you need to know about dealing with fake people. When you...

From the rubbish you write on here it’s unlikely that you’ll ever have to worry about it anyway, good luck on your journey, 35 will come quicker than you realise ;)

Perhaps focus on having a business idea and actually executing on it before you worry about shit like this.

A Mass of Mass Shootings... Guns? Or Mental Illness?

    OFF-TOPIC
I don't think data can compare the US to Australia relating to guns anyway, its a completely different culture. Before the Port Arthur Massacre and the buy back we didn't have a big gun culture here, nothing like it is in the US. BTW that graph is labeled as suicide not homicide.

What if I'm unsure about my product / Testing the market.

you need to market the product and get people to your website. Facebook ads, Instagram ads, Google ads, Amazon, Ebay, get it out there, 1000 followers on Instagram is not enough people to have any idea if the product has legs or not.

    Entrepreneur/Inventor Needs Help, Stationary Product

    HOT!
@Virgman you don’t need to convince us that there’s a market for this, if it exists you need to attack it and get your product in front of them and make sales. Numbers relating to how many brochures exist or how many people use airports doesn’t put money in your pocket or put your product in...

    If You Were A Moderator

    HOT!
Shame to see you go @guy93777 I enjoy your posts but do what you have to do. If I were a moderator I'd be quicker to wipe people out but I understand why that's not necessarily the environment the forum wants*, and I for one like that people can't delete their comments. Take the time to think...

The road to wealth is simple: Drive a crappy car

    HOT! INVESTING
When I quit my slowlane job a few years back the car I had went back to them. My GF was 6 months pregnant, and I had no means of getting a loan to buy a car so I caught the bus or uber for the next 18 months, until my business was in a position to get me one. We lived in the city so my GF and I...
