Poll: Computer science or Mechanical engineering?

I finished my mech degree last year. If you want a "job" from this degree you will always be middle class poor. The only thing you can learn from mech is 3D modeling, which you can learn on your own. If you want to learn how to design and manufacture PHYSICAL products for fastlane ideas, it...

Successful Slowlaner Rebukes Fastlane (My Response...)

    NOTABLE! SLOWLANE
Well that's fantastic. A really smart decision young man. We can put that check in a money market mutual fund and then we'll reinvest the earnings in foreign currency accounts with compounding interest....aaaaand.. it's gone.

App Idea - what to work on while waiting for App development?

    IDEA
Make a website for your group. Don't know how? I didn't either but it doesn't take long if you know where to look. What's your business strategy? 4 people working on one app doesn't sound too profitable.

This time next year I'll be a kachillionaire!

Exactly. Use it for more motivation. Revenue goals are awesome. It helps you filter out ideas to see if they will get what you'll really want. Sure it is good to keep in mind that your ideas need to be based on value, but in the end I want financial freedom. Helping grandmas cross the street...

Your Thoughts on Renting a Coworking Space

That sounds expensive and time consuming to get there. However, when I was in school I would have to go to the library to get work done quickly. I felt more pressure to be focused, or at least look like I'm focusing. Whatever you do, make it a routine and create a sense of urgency.

Recommendation for Free FTP client software?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Maybe there is a difference with the client download and the server download option. I just want to see what people are doing. And yes I'm looking at the sourceforge download page.

How early do you wake up?

    HOT! MINDSET
That's true. I'm already disciplined. Discipline is my greatest value. However, after staring at a computer all day for my day job, my eyes get strained. In the morning I'm refreshed.

How early do you wake up?

    HOT! MINDSET
It seems that if I want to get my most important work done, it must be in the morning before anybody else is awake. Next week I'm getting a new place 1 bed/1bath no roommates, for once. I'm going to wake up at 4am and work on my business plans before I work my normal job at 8:00am to 5pm. After...

    EXECUTION
Sunday: I've been researching on how to install LED lights in the interior of my car. I need to wire it to my fuse box. That lead me to think about buying/selling cars to increase cash flow. It's not a bad idea but it is technically illegal to flip cars without a dealer's license. I don't think...
