Anyone have experience renovating absolute run down homes?

    HOT! REAL ESTATE
I don't think I have that much space to spare, to be honest. :D They do have co-op workspaces, like industrial versions of wework or whatever it is, down in providence (I'd imagine in most cities). Not sure if that's closer or further for you, or if it's something you've looked into.

All of that open work space for almost no $$$ is taking me on a drug like psychedelic journey... I'd start a F*cking hobby aircraft company or something.

How much space do you need @MoreValue ? If this is the only thing holding you back, and you're near Boston, I can try help you out. I'm moving into a place that's a little too big, and I'll trade you space for a few hours of week of work. Don't know if that type of barter deal is on your radar?

The one feature that the Fastlane Forum is missing! (No, it's not sort by likes)

Digital contractors have finally hit parity with home improvement contractors?

Depending upon how run down you're talking, it may become very difficult to find financing. I love fixing up places though.

My google-fu isn't what it used to be, but are there any Vietnamese Canton Fair equivalents? I'm just getting several pages of Vietnamese restaurants and info on the Canton Fair itself while searching.

The one feature that the Fastlane Forum is missing! (No, it's not sort by likes)

Would be cool actually for the ama mega threads. I know MJ was working on integrating sort by likes, which would probably do this by default, but sorting by op would cut straight to the chase chronologically with most or all of the best replies likely to be quoted and responded to by the op.

 Paintball arenas, escape rooms, murder mystery games. There's a couple of different escapism oriented business ideas out there, aren't there?

    Watching a Trainwreck

    RANT
As stated above, in almost all cases an alcoholic (or whatever term they ultimately settle on) isn't going to stop as a result of external social pressures short of jail, or death. Something needs to click internally. There has to be a bigger transformative "why?". ... Speaking of problem...

    What is happiness?

    OFF-TOPIC
I'm going to have to dig into the Jordan Peterson tomorrow. I've heard his name tossed around frequently, in conjunction with the phrase "clean your room", but I've always felt my compass was set as properly as possible (for me anyways) in that respect. Tomorrow I'll see if I'm missing any...

Haha... I'm not even sure what I was aiming for there, but it felt real while I was typing it and that made me happy. :D

    Formal Education is Overrated!(or not?)

    MINDSET RANT
Wait a minute... that sounds like actual work! I'm out. Just playing. I am actually doing ebook 1, in essence. A few of the details are flipped. Namely, instead of importing, I'm going to change the method and materials of the most time consuming portion of the product. It will cost less to...

    What is happiness?

    OFF-TOPIC
You just took me to another level. I'm getting existential. Let's make it fully mathematical by letting happiness be the derivative of increased effort (y axis) and increasing reward (x axis) to incorporate both pursuit and fulfilment; in essence the math of living life vs just being here...

Silicone Molds? Who to contact/get foot in door for creating samples

I don't want to hijack the thread, but can I send you a message this afternoon (buried in work presently) with some questions and pics? Your artistic work is absolutely stunning, so I'm not sure if you'd even look at my super basic project, but having a seasoned pro would shave at least a...
