    Home Office Ideas

    IDEA
Ha, here is my "office" as of a couple minutes ago :P Sorry for the (very) poor quality, I don't have an actual camera... If you want inspirational things from the get-go, please reconsider what you're pursuing. Inspirational tools are going to only become temporary fix, to a permanent...

    Easy SEO

    WEB/DIGITAL
@James - Why does relevant to your business matter, besides a much higher conversion rate? Getting your name out there, and 'being real' regardless of what your business is atleast peaks curiosity. I know on a few forums, this included, if someone creates something I'm almost guaranteed to...

    Rare planetary alignment "Cardinal Climax"

    HOT!
Tophera how can you even say that it is "beyond coincidence"? You're merely looking for events that confirm your belief. Of course if you look for disasters that's what you'll find. I'd be willing to guarantee you a year from today I can find a bunch of 'disasters' too. It's merely you...

MLM Humor ... Or Is It?

Any job that gets their employees to follow some type of script, or even a rough guideline annoys me. Not only as a customer, but also when I got to work one of those shit jobs(Mcdonalds, yeah! haha). When I worked at Mcdonalds I refused (not outright state to a manager, but did my thing) to...

MLM Humor ... Or Is It?

Listening to the so called 'professional network marketer' just made me uncomfortable. haha

Whats it feel like to be a millionaire?

    MINDSET
Pfft, just don't use Unix. Use a *perfect* OS like Windows Vista instead. :smxB: Edit: Allseeingeye - On a Unix operating system, typing in that command deletes everything in the folder. So, enter that on the root directory (the very 'first' folder) would more or less delete everything on...

    Our B&B Blog-- Feedback?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Haha, no problem, it was the product of procrastination. The weird thing about it though? I'm procrastinating from working on a website.... Although, this is problem solving, and working on the website, I know how to - it's just a matter of investing time which bores me. Blah, I suppose I...

    Our B&B Blog-- Feedback?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Does anyone have this problem loading: Napa Valley Bed and Breakfast, Napa Bed and Breakfast ? That doesn't load that yellow\orange background as an image, but rather the way I suggest. I'm going to guess it doesn't give anyone a problem. For some reason the style on the blog ends up using an...

    Our B&B Blog-- Feedback?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Not sure why it might just not load at random times then. Granted I'm hardly an expert :P Definitely though Russ you want to suggest them to just use something like the hex number for the background rather than an image (the image is "blog-body-background.gif") so you can point them right to...

    Our B&B Blog-- Feedback?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Heh, dear god, I'm pretty sure I know what's causing the problem. The yellow\orange background for the blog is an image, and it's drawn by repeating it until it reaches the bottom. Any chance the people loading it have an older computer\web browser? I've never had a problem loading it, but...

    Need a Website Design?

    MARKETPLACE
Hey guys, I'm spending a bit of time reacquainting myself with html\css\javascript\etc, and wouldn't mind creating the front-end(what the user sees) for a few websites. Kind of sucks just making stuff I know will be discarded, and wouldn't mind learning while helping someone. Profiting would...

Only just looked at the code, and yeah, you'll be surprised at how much less repeating of things you have to do. Might initially seem weird, but the moment it clicks in your head you'll save a ton of time, and not nearly as much code. Just get at me whenever. Teaching allows me to see if I...

    Our B&B Blog-- Feedback?

    WEB/DIGITAL
re: Our B&B Blog-- Feedback? First and foremost Russ, if you had said nothing about you taking the pictures, and "still learning" I felt like the pictures looked professional. Now, this is coming from someone with no knowledge of the topic, but I know what I like to look at! Really, the only...

    Youtube vid in Craigslist ad

    OFF-TOPIC
Since knowledge is never bad here's what it does, for anyone not familiar with html.. The '<a href="">' and '</a>' symbolize a link you can click on. They say that anything written between these tags (tags are anything in between '<' and '>' in html) will be treated like a link. The place you...

How would this forum perceive you . . .

This reminded me of a friend from a game (RuneScape) that lit the business spark for me through a game. Got taught a lot by him about buying\selling in response to the game economy. After he became one of the richest in game this lead me to start learning\incorporating the methods into real...

Looking for the best free advertising

Facebook fan page no doubt. People like to do things (or use businesses) that their friends do, and if you have a place where people can "Like" your business it's gold. Granted this can easily fall into the "word of mouth" category now.

How would this forum perceive you . . .

Funny to see the arrogant teenage years, right? Some of the older people here don't get to relive that part of their life. haha The lack of direction is no doubt that hard part. There is no one there to tell you "now you do this". With that possibility of doing any number of things, or just...

How would this forum perceive you . . .

Surely within 10 years I'll have some sort of respectable company. So hopefully my opinion will actually mean something then. haha Really though, if I was to view posts from now, in 10 years it'd be funny to see how "stupid" I was. I've seen old things I've wrote (AIM chat logs\other forums)...

I'll Buy Web Hosting For You

    MARKETPLACE
It's probably just my sleep deprived mind, but how do you figure it's a 14$ discount on the fiverr page? You're giving 2 months which costs 9$ a month: So 18$ You're giving the 2 months for just 5 dollars: 5$ 18-5 = 13$ discount? right? As far as the guess I'll get back to you on that when my...

Wal-Mart spends Millions to fight $7k fine

    OFF-TOPIC
This is just stupid, I'm pretty sure this is just an attempt to play devils advocate, or trolling us. "Look at it from all angles" is hardly a way to justify anything. You can put a negative spin on ANYTHING, so perhaps we should be allowed to do nothing? although that would kill you, which is...
