Any Idea What Happened To My Site???

IDEA
Hm.. very weird... Changing what I had said gave me this: http://i.imgur.com/V1yXq I've barely used WP myself, and plugins even less so I definitely don't know enough off hand to throw out suggestions (assuming you still wanted to try to have them). If you wanted to fool around some more with...

That's not what's causing the problem. You're right though quotes instead of apostrophes are definitely the standard (although not required!). It was trying to grab a stylesheet from a location that didn't exist, and just had to change where it was trying to grab the stylesheet from.

FB makes money off to the side of the games. Zynga games are standalone apps, that are run on Facebook through a frame, which is completely different than getting a facebook page that was suggested. Everything in the frame is running off Zynga servers, and FB deciding to randomly shut...

Ok, change this from right under the head tag: <link rel='stylesheet' href='http://fivedietsthatwork.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-minify/min/?f=wp-content/themes/flexibility3/style.css,wp-content/plugins/associate-magic/templates/am-style-vertical.css&m=1285895356' type='text/css'...

Adding on to what Darkside said, is you really can't create some type of service they cannot do themselves. You cannot offer anything that they cannot do themselves in a couple minutes for free (setting up a page themselves). Needing filtering based on location, job, etc is not something...

How Does The number by the username mean?

OFF-TOPIC
You can give people 'speed' on any post they make. It's used though at the discretion of it being a good\great post. Think of it as reputation. And as you get a higher speed you give more points [need certain amounts to move up in speed] when you give speed to someone else.

Hello everyone! Please, check into this thread!

HOT!
Everyone has some genius idea that they aren't willing to discuss. The problem is it generally isn't as remarkable as their adrenaline rushed brain thinks it is initially or it is going to involve a lot more sweat equity than money. Being a good, or even great idea doesn't mean not giving out...

The struggles of having a website

WEB/DIGITAL
Doesn't really make a difference man. Only thing I can think of especially good for someone in your position is the use of templates in WordPress just to make it more presentable. Idk, pro's and con's to either...

Google buys Groupon for $2.5 billion

HOT!
From your perspective they may be a little too proud of their project, but from mine you care a bit too much about money. Do you really think the amount gotten from the deal would change their lives dramatically? Investors would be happy, but the founders would also lose control of their...

I think the best way to tell will be to see how conversions go. :) Definitely keep us updated on how it goes!

Music that Motivates

HOT! MINDSET
Hm... Get your logic out of here... :P No, you're right. Ryan just happened to be at the tail end of me getting sick of people questioning songs due to lyrics. I'm definitely a person who likes songs whose lyrics are not really meaningful. Ex: Deadmau5

Music that Motivates

HOT! MINDSET
Why do the words need meaning that can be dissected? Why can't they just have the same position in a song as instruments to add the feeling of an emotion without attaching a specific thought (like lyrics do) to each note. The total of it all equals something we enjoy regardless if there are...

Delayed site launch

WEB/DIGITAL
Could you web developer allow you to do split testing? Have some receive the website without the video, and some with it? Then see the conversions for either? You could even do it to test what the right type of wording is (if the video doesn't have as good of conversions) Mixergy.com uses a...

Article: Entrepreneurs Get An Edge Playing Video Games

I would agree that it's more the personality of the person rather than the games themselves. Much like how athletes attribute discipline from sports translating to other things. I believe people had it regardless. One thing among top players is constantly seeking the absolutely best way to...

Article: Entrepreneurs Get An Edge Playing Video Games

Eh, leadership in games, especially with raids in WoW is much easier than something like starting a project from scratch. To be able to do raids in the first place you have to spend a significant amount of time before hand leveling up your character. You must get to a level to do them, so you...

Bad: Starting a Business Around Yourself

Well, a position like Gary Vaynerchuk is in with Wine Library TV would be one example. To have someone else host it would almost indefinitely ruin it. Granted he also hasn't positioned himself to rely solely on that so while it'd make people upset if he ever stopped it's certainly not the end...

Delayed site launch

WEB/DIGITAL
If you don't have content\system yet, I really wouldn't rely on a video to intrigue people. A short phrase about what you're going to do (in a way that adds a little 'mystery'), will be more likely to get people to leave an email. It is very tough to get anyone to watch a video even if...
