    INVESTING
Hey Topherea, Thanks for starting this thread. I've been checking out the companies you listed. I have little knowledge regarding IPO's trading - If you could elaborate a little what methods you use to trade them, and perhaps add a little intro to each stock to describe why they are...

The idea to the business - Site development

    IDEA
Hi Kaz, I am currently in the process of transmitting an idea into a business aswell. I am also very busy with other things at the moment - so I decided to outsource the web development. My goal is to make the idea into a prototype quickly to test its concept, and to do it without investing...

PayPal Founder Offers Students $100,000 To 'Stop Out of School'

Generally you would be right but this case is different. This case is not about some politician throwing money at "teenagers" and saying "make the economy grow". He mentioned it is a 2 year program, and I'm assuming his company won't just write checks UP to 100,000$ to the "teenagers" and say...

Do You Have A Successful Entrepreneurial Premise?

    GOLD! MINDSET
:iagree: This is probably the 5'th time I'm reading this post - and I keep being amazed by how easy it is to get distracted to the "dark" side. The project I'm working on right now passed the premise test, so it's on the right side. I should start using some of these fridge/mirror...

Looking for opinions on my website

    WEB/DIGITAL
Since it seems like you are proceeding with this project mainly for your fun and experience - which is not necessairly a bad thing - here is a little brainstorming material: build up content without charging first , and later monetize it if the concept works (membership, advertisements etc)...

My web developer keeps messing with my site..advice please

    WEB/DIGITAL
I didn't explain myself correctly :smx6: TheBiz mentioned his platform was some kind of custome CMS - and when a developer builds a new CMS I'm sure its not hard for him to leave backdoors. But if a developer is using WP or Joomla - I wonder if it is still risky. I'm sure its possible -...

Chosing a Content Management System for my website

    WEB/DIGITAL
I am in the stages of outsourcing my website development to programmers. I'm currently recieving bids and screening the applicants. The website is going to be based on user-generated content (including vids, PDF's etc), with quite a few databases involved. On the other hand, there is still...

Leo Davinci would be so proud!

    OFF-TOPIC
This is great! The whole set up reminds me of the Wright brothers' first flight. I was in Leonrado's museum in Rome a few months ago. Just for comparison, this is how he invisioned his ornithopter: The inventor is not always as good in physics as the engineer who ends up building...

Nice video! I like the idea aswell. Altough I am having a little trouble understanding the practical aspects of the idea. I dont have any knowledge in this technology, but assuming you got the equipment and "lab" - how is the process of creating the "virtual platforms" going to work?
