    Bangkok - DCBKK Meetup

    MEETUPS
Is this going to happen? If so, what day? 14th, 15th? It's been raining everyday so the proposed spot may not be suitable. http://www.bangkok.com/magazine/cloud-47.htm could be a back up. It's located in the Silom area.

How I Lost a Million Dollars, But Am Happier And Stronger Than Ever

    GOLD!
He should have waited for a bigger offer from me..Hell, I offered likwid money when he was barely getting going. I offered nothing but a cash injection. I would be sitting on a beach while he did all the work. He was smart enough to turn me down. Same with Vic. I know how to pick them I guess...

    What laptop have you got?

    OFF-TOPIC
ASUS N751JK I'd like a chrome book or something tiny and similar for mobility sake but love this for at home and longer travels.

Pretty poor policies on their part. Li Ka-shing is probably a bit annoyed http://techcrunch.com/2013/12/27/asias-richest-man-invests-in-bitpay/

Cool New Cover (I Think) - Please comment on what you think

Not unless you have an incredible track record. Are you selling hard-copies? If it's a made for Amazon book once you cross $9.99 your share drops from 70% to 30%. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If it's an e-book maybe try 5.99 - 9.99?

What is your life like without a college degree?

    HOT!
    1. No. I networked with people while I was deployed in the military and received a job offer for 120k or so. I found a better company that ended up paying me around $200k. 2.Probably. More money? No 3.Bootstrap 4. I go for free for an easy visa and money I signed up for. No intentions of...

If You Have Savings In Your 20′s, You’re Doing Something Wrong.

    HOT!
It's difficult to tell or even judge someone on how they spend their prime years. I'm 32 now and every birthday I think "were did the time go?" The clock moves faster and faster every single year. Do what makes you happy. Hopefully that includes creating something that other people find valuable.

    Is Capitalism Moral?

Nice vid. I wish a completely free market existed so we could witness the benefits.

The Value of Things (And Why I Don't Drive a Lambo)

    OFF-TOPIC
Jealous. Eventually you'll collect stuff. I've ended up with a Honda PCX and a Toyota Yaris :wideyed: Although I despise the import tax laws it's probably saved me a ton of money as I'm not tempted to buy a F355 for +$500,000 that would cost $65k in the states. Have to weigh the good with the...

    Dead Millionaires Tell No Tales...

    HOT!
One life to live. One life to enjoy or hate. I make bold decisions that seem irrational to most but there's a reason for that - that I don't need to dive into right now. Anyway - Bon Jovi rocked Bangkok tonight and this song always strikes a chord with me. This ain't a song for the...

What do you guys think of my first app?

    WEB/DIGITAL
I still don't have a solid grasp on this (alcohol + Bon Jovi concert tonight) but can this possibly be profitable if 1-3% upgrade? Are you more concerned with customer acquisition rather than profitability?

Money can't buy happiness. Or can it?

    HOT! MINDSET
Money allows you to spend your time as you choose too. If you find happiness in your free time then money can buy happiness. If you're miserable unless someone is telling you what to do then no, you won't be happy with money. I enjoy doing what I want and living where I want so money buys me...

A Lesson in Branding - How to sell a $1 product for $300!

For my new brand of products I thought I was going to launch a particular product well before my competition decided to.(They hit the super rich crowd, I'm aiming for the somewhat high to the well off crowd). I have an order in but it will be a bit until I have the products in hand. The same...

    Bangkok - DCBKK Meetup

    MEETUPS
Just send me a head count a couple days prior and I'll make sure that we can grab a table. The place is normally slow but since the name change, price drop, and advertising push in the area it may start to get a bit busier. Is the plan to stay there for a couple of hours or meet up there for a...

I was in basic training. A few weeks away from graduation. We had no idea wtf was going on for a few days. They didn't tell us or let us watch the news. We had a few days where sirens went off and we though we were being attacked. Turns out it was nothing more than a box or a bag left near the...
