European Fastlane Business Thread
HOT!The problem is that my niche involves accounting work to be done. I can understand not needing software and hiring an accountant to manage the financials of the company, but using software would magnify the volume of services offered, since I can take up more work, but also decrease the...- DMNinja

How do you use The Fastlane Forum?
OFF-TOPICWatching this thread. To answer your question: I log in, notice if any of the threads I'm watching have been updated. After reading through, I reassess me still following. After cleanup, I may lookup threads with the topics that are of immediate interest and add those. If I don't do any of...- DMNinja

European Fastlane Business Thread
HOT!So, I have a question: Are you using accounting software? I'm searching for software that's compatible to the EU legislation but I can't find something as ubiquitous as Quickbooks or anything comprehensive. Can you give me a few pointers to look around?- DMNinja

Habits of the Unscripted
HOT! MINDSETThat is why I mentioned in the OP that habit change is identity change. We root ourselves down with habits and they are hard to change because we identify with them. So when we do try to change, our identity gets in the way. If anything, this is a strong indication that we become our habits. I...- DMNinja

Contrarian Opinion Here: Money is no longer representative of Created Value
RANTI might have missed the point of the OP, but I felt like he was more worried that our fundamental freedoms are eroding. I'm personally engaging in a niche consulting business that adheres to CENTS rules, and I can see that It'll be a fast track. The above statement might sound true, but...- DMNinja

Contrarian Opinion Here: Money is no longer representative of Created Value
RANTI think that he's implying that although we strive to have a higher QoL, it's becoming harder and harder to get the same freedoms we used to enjoy because it feels like the world wants to actively cannibalize production. I also think that he's referring to the trend that upcoming businesses get...- DMNinja

Habits of the Unscripted
HOT! MINDSETI'll be blunt: I used to be like that and I can tell you that there the only solution is a custom-tailored solution. Your solution. For me, it was many years of shifting my mindset, but as you can see in post #9, I still suffer from it. Sometimes. But let me try to be of help: I don't. I've...- DMNinja

Habits of the Unscripted
HOT! MINDSETI'll be completely honest: My very first impulse was to say "I'm aware of what you told me, since it looks like we've both read the book". But I won't say that. What I will say is this: "I will think about what you've told me, for just knowing does not equate to meaningful change. Acting upon...- DMNinja

Habits of the Unscripted
HOT! MINDSETAnother one, and this time it's quick and easy to digest(Left it here, just so you can laugh at it in posterity)! This idea dawned on me, since I dispensed it in another medium. But here it is: It doesn't matter if you don't have your 3B's in order. Just make a plan and start executing. Your...- DMNinja

Regarding Language used in Self-Publishing
So, I've started uncovering up words of the field, and I think that the following applies: Both Greece and Cyprus are members of the Berne Convention of Copyright. Meaning that Copyright is created automatically. In Cyprus as well as in the European Union and in most countries there is no...- DMNinja

Regarding Language used in Self-Publishing
What do you mean exactly? The way i've been doing things is by writing (in LaTeX) and just posting the .pdf (updated) each week within the group that's reading it. I'm not monetizing this piece of work, but I'll be having a donation link for optional support. Do you think the work's already...- DMNinja

Regarding Language used in Self-Publishing
I've been sitting on the idea of creating a publishing house explicitly so I'm able to protect my literary work. Both present and future. Although my primary and only focus is on my freelance work that could turn into a full-scale business, I've found that I enjoy writing on my "down time" so...- DMNinja

Moving Out The UK Because It Is A Woke Sh*thole, Any Suggestions Of More Conservative Locations?
HOT!At this day and age, governments have given the OK for kids and pregnant mothers to be injected with experimental mRNA injections, and are planning on using a "health" passport for daily life, effectively creating a two-tier society but the second tier doesn't have alternative options. Do you...- DMNinja
