    Edible Garden Kits

Good to see you pushing forward but I think this idea needs changes to succeed. @LateStarter had a lot of good advice. Mine may overlap. Too local - I live in the US. The only thing I can get is hand written letter. Most of the offerings are only available in small part of Ontario. Are you...

Helpful Resource: How To Get Images Mass Edited

That looks great once I have more of a budget. I will try it out tomorrow. I use a person from oDesk that is $3.25/hour. I sent her a batch of photos this week and she did about 4 per hour. @Vigilante mentioned http://fotofuze.com/ in one of his podcasts. It automates background removal but...

Starting Over for the Last Time

    EXECUTION
Placed a new order for first product early last week. I was told it would sent before they start Spring/New Year festivities. I need to manage inventory better as I don't have any to sell. The newer product is getting a lot of attention (page views) on eBay. The sales come from auction...

Think of eBay as a search engine. Your goal is to be top for your keyword. Things that help are being powerseller, offering free shipping, having long return period with no fee, receiving good feedback/DSRs, and shipping out sales fast. Every one of these factor into where your listing shows up...

I made the leap. executed my idea. What now??

    IDEA
Where are you operating? Dubai, Hamptons, NYC? It seems to me a concierge needs connections to get the things rich people will pay big money for. It will be hard to make all the connections across the globe when you are starting. What services are you offering? Business trips, vacations, or a...

help needed! advice from like minded people.

    MINDSET
It sounds like you found a problem to solve and found the answer with an ebook, recipe and ecommerce site to follow. Many people start out with out with a blog and gain a following. Then add recipes. Then give them an ebook for joining your mailing list. Then launch your ecom site. Break it into...

    Sidewalker Attempting to Escape

    EXECUTION
I remembered this post while I was taking pictures. In my opinion, lighting and background are most important. Even with a great camera, poor lighting will make the pictures look bad. I have been trying to use the sun for lighting, but that only gives me a few hrs of great lighting each day...

Turning a bad website, into an acceptable (hopefully) one

New site is an improvement but needs more work. 1. The fonts reminded me of looking at Chinese site that don't render correctly. 2. This one may just be - Anyone else have feedback? Move "Collaborations with:" up so it appears above the fold? Even if smaller in size, seeing you work with these...

I tried to make my criticism constructive and thanks for letting me know others reactions. I also figured you two were Ford guys based upon what you drive. I did listen to the whole thing and was amazed at the Amazon numbers. Looking forward to the next one.

I just listened to the last two episodes. The auto episode was my least favorite. I came here to comment before it was even over. The first 15 minutes did not engage me. I realize you are in MN, but hockey talk in a business podcast? The auto show - drooling over the Mustang while talking down...

You are correct. Thank you for your input. I was planning to return to FBA later but there really is no reason why I can't do it now with this product.

Starting Over for the Last Time

    EXECUTION
Progress and setbacks. The first product I worked on is not a home run. It does have some potential and I learned a lot about the niche so it wasn't a total waste. I was successful at selling some through FBA but made a huge mistake by not counting all the fees. After fees, I lose money selling...

    Business Opportunity I've Been Presented

*** 4 posts were made as I was typing this. I am posting this anyway :) As others have said, a B&M (bricks and mortar) store using someone's brand is not fastlane. Will he give you the $ and supplier list if you take it online? Why not send the merchandise to Amazon FBA and let them handle...

Your take on launching 2 businesses with a friend?

    HOT!
    1. Don't make your dreams dependent on another person. You are the best person to make them reality. 2. Stick to one business at first or neither will reach their full potential.

Agree. On other podcasts with hundreds of episodes, I use the description to determine what I will listen to. Additionally, is there a bio? What are your credentials? What makes you an SME? Why should someone listen to your podcast instead one of the other small business ones? Forum users know...
