What If You Don't Want To Work For a Company/Organisation??

I say you should go work for someone else till you're really ready. I'm a firm believe that the teacher will appear when the student is ready. In just about every response you've replied with, I don't know how to do that, that's not a good market, etc. which is fine, that may be true. But what...

    Interest in your "great idea"

    IDEA
You can always do something like morepotter.com did on the new Harry Potter venture. Lots of publicity way before it ready and if you do it right you don't even have to reveal exactly what it is. Curiosity is huge draw.

    How to open a website?

Sorry to be a Debbie downer here but I see a bunch of red lags here If no one else is doing it then odds are there's a reason. Pioneers seldom do well in any market, they just take the most arrows. Sorry but I wouldn't use the word lucrative and immediately follow it up with a cap of the...

    Google+ vs. Facebook

    MARKETING
Yeah I'm also wondering about the SEO opportunities it will offer. My guess is that it will do OK as a social network but it's kind of like Bing against Google, they're too late to the party to overtake Facebook.

How to Figure Out If there is a NEED?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Traffic is good but are the visitors spending money? There may be a lot of searches for "free clip-art" but good luck trying to turn that into a fastlane biz, I think you get the point.

    SEO the fastlane way

    WEB/DIGITAL
The other the fact that has really been pointed out here is that your money site has to have real value. If you can't keep visitors on the site eventually your rankings will suffer. As far as building backlinks, I'd much rather have a real person in Malaysia building them for $3 an hour than use...

    E-book Writing Question

That's exactly right, the recipes may not be copyrighted but everything else they wrote is, names descriptions instructions explaining what to do, etc is. It also brings up a good point to this type of book, people aren't just buying a list of ingredients and measurements, they are buying the...

Thoughts on Marriage/Kids and the Fastlane dream

    OFF-TOPIC
Let's not forget that having others depending on you to keep a roof over everyone's head can be a super strong motivator to make things work in your business. If it's just you then you might be willing to accept a lot less. Again not a reason to get married and have a bunch of kids, just a...

Finally have the guts to say something!!! Guidance plz!!!!!!!!!!!

So there are only a few things I see you'd need to get this going - a phone number (you can get one free at Google voice) - people to fill the jobs - placing listings in Craigslist The 1st money you make needs to go into insurance of some sort and then incorporating, both of these are to cover...

    Hello Bar

    WEB/DIGITAL
Well I get what you're saying, it's not rocket science but I guess it's like a paper clip - it provides a simple solution. From a development standpoint they probably didn't put that much time in to create it and support has to be close to non existent. I bet they've made development cost back...

What steps do you take in starting a new internet business?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Start with this video MJ did YouTube - ‪FastlaneMJ's Channel‬‏. Look for a hungry crowd as Gary Halbert said. If they aren't hungry for what you sell start over. Next look where there are already businesses serving that crowd but not doing a very good job or figure out a way to do it...

Thoughts on Marriage/Kids and the Fastlane dream

    OFF-TOPIC
Hey another Houston guy. I don't see the two being mutually exclusive.
