    Google is broken

    OFF-TOPIC
When I type fltm into google it serves me with this warning. It seems to be happening for all the searches I make so maybe it is a problem with google or google australia I have noticed this all day. For each day they leave this up they wave good bye to $47million going by their 2007...

The Anatomy of a $20,000,000 Fastlane idea

    IDEA
Brilliant idea, I think it takes as much creativity to rework a poncho into Americas must have accessory as it does to come up with a new an innovative idea, otherwise every 2nd man would be on tv with his own infomercial but the moral is still the same, you don't have to have a brilliant new...

Lovely place that one is. Though the title is called "...500m-euro-french-reviera-mansion.jpg" I think it is a little bit more than the place I posted.

This is going on my vision board, stunning property

    OFF-TOPIC
http://www.domain.com.au/Public/PropertyDetails.aspx?adid=2007570362# This is one of the nicest areas of Sydney, in the Northern Beaches about 30-40 minutes drive away. I can just imagine stepping out of my living room board under arm and walking 30 metres across the smooth golden sand to one...

What do you want to be when you grow up?

That is definitely a gem of advice. That articulates perfectly what I meant when I said "I will wait for a big wave of inspiration to hit me, before I dive head first into an idea". Some of my ideas are things that could do well but I would prefer to take my time and come up with an idea to...

    Interview With Felix Dennis (businessman)

    MINDSET
I thought this was a good interview. Mr Dennis obviously has a great grasp of the fastlane concepts having created a chain of ~50 magazines in his time. He touches on failure, how ideas don't really matter, why he doesn't like VC's, negotiation tactics, the attitude of scarcity some have and...

    The new Mac Book Wheel

    FUNNY
Looks painfully slow. I don't think business users or any serious users will want an on screen keyboard which takes up 1/2 the screen and slows your typing speed down to only a few wpm. If this was made by Microsoft, HP or a small startup they would get laughed out of town. EDIT: haha I just...

    How would you purchase it?

Alternatively if the property was like this one I remember reading about a while back in Marrakech Morocco where there is 4 main castle/mansions and about 10 3 bedroom private suites I would have the option of following the same time share arrangment, allowing clients to use the entire property...

    How would you purchase it?

I would probably prefer to buy something like this in cash but if I wanted it without having the means to buy it with cash I would do this: 1.Accept that I cannot afford to live in such a huge place all year and probably wouldn't want to (I like to travel). I would be initially happy with two...

    SUCCESS STORY: Sam Morgan

    EXECUTION
Great story. I would be a little disappointed to know that $500m of the sale price had gone to others, but I suppose the other $200m would comfort me quickly. I suppose being founded in the dot com era meant that there was a lot of firms throwing money into private equity and he must have...

How Porsche hacked the financial system and made a killing

A very skillful and i believe legal - though still unfair - manouver from the Porsche family. I will print this off now to read later. Thanks for posting it Edit: Just got around to reading it I though it might elaborate on the legality of the manouveur seeing as it was being called into...
