Entrepreneur Story on Tim Ferriss Podcast

Great story about a young entrepreneur who started a one person million dollar business. He mentions TMF as one of the books he read for inspiration and preparation. Great example of execution. Real 4-Hour Workweek Case Studies — Allen Walton and SpyGuy, The Path to Seven Figures (#351)

    24 y/o Copywriter, Lost AF

Hey @JFCopy! Welcome! I'm relatively new here too. I'm not a copywriter and don't play one on the internet. And you've gotten great advice in this post so far. But, also consider reaching out to @Neville Medhora. I don't know him, but he's a well known copywriter. Or kopywriter. Also, check...

Billionaire Ray Dalio: Meditation is ‘the single most important reason' for my success

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
I am completely sold on meditation and it's benefits. It seems as if three out of every four successful people in the world meditate. I've been doing the Headspace app 'Tiny Habits style' for the past 30 days. 3 minutes a day for 10 days. Then 5 minutes a day for 10 days. Now 10 minutes a day...

    Why should I have kids?

    HOT! PEOPLE
I have a five-year old daughter and she truly helps me think better. She's always asking me why. My first instinct is to answer like my parents did. "Because I said so." But, instead I pause. And, think. 50% of the time, I have no idea why I do the crap I do. It's just dogma that I learned...

    Work/life balance

    MINDSET
I had to look up Fortnite. Never heard of it. I was wondering why your kids wanted to play in forts by themselves. I understand now. Since they love video games, why not learn to code with them? You all can create video games together. And all three of you will learn a marketable skill.

    Work/life balance

    MINDSET
@Paul David Have you considered starting a business with your sons? Lemonade stand? Car Wash? Lawn mower service? Vending machines? Selling inexpensive Snickers bars from Costcos? I did the Snickers thing growing up. I had a 100% mark up, but I ate half the bars myself. So, I made no profit...

    Morning routines

    OFF-TOPIC
@Bryan James I'm in the process of trying to create and stick to a morning routine. My biggest obstacle is that I do shift work. So, my hours change frequently. If you're looking for examples of mourning routines to improve your own, consider reading...

    Starting a fiction podcast

    EXECUTION
In my last post, I stated I'd launch on October 1st. I misjudged my readiness. Again. ;) But, I now have three audiobooks completely narrated, edited, and mastered. So, I have 15 total hours of narration. My plan is to have 15 to 20 minute podcast episodes. So, I currently have enough content...

Vegan / Vegetarians Only (Chat about lifestyle, opportunities, food, whatever...)

    NOTABLE!
@ChrisV I can see your point. I hadn't read the posts about animal cruelty before I posted. So, I'll reluctantly agree that my post was insensitive.

Vegan / Vegetarians Only (Chat about lifestyle, opportunities, food, whatever...)

    NOTABLE!
Dude, you're always trying to start something. I didn't attack the vegan way of life. I didn't even say that I disagree with it. I just stated that I don't follow it. And I actually posted a video that defends their point of view. So, I'll disagree with you that my post was in bad taste.

    Getting ripped and success

    HEALTH
@Brian Suh Your post is very true. I'm trying to incorporate this into my daily routines and habits. James Clear shared a similar concept in this article: Benefits of Weight Training: 3 Reasons Why You Should Lift Weights

Vegan / Vegetarians Only (Chat about lifestyle, opportunities, food, whatever...)

    NOTABLE!
I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian. Two days ago I ate a 36 ounce bone-in ribeye in one sitting. And it was glorious. But, a friend of mine sent me this video the other day: How to Reduce Cholesterol Oxidation | NutritionFacts.org I have to do more research about the whole 'cholesterol...

    EXECUTION
