What can I do on a daily basis to grow as an entrepreneur?

    HOT!
LEARN and PRACTICE. I've learned more in the last year than I ever have, especially about sales, psychology, business, etc. But you lose it fast if you do not put it into practice. Just try to learn something new every day.

Anyone involved in Worldwide Dream Builders/Amway?

    HOT!
You gotta tell me too - do they train members on how to act at those bigger mass membership events? Got roped into going once and it was in an auditorium. The crowd, which I assume was largely members was off the charts energized clapping at everything and screaming out in agreement like it was...

Anyone involved in Worldwide Dream Builders/Amway?

    HOT!
FUNNY STORY - I was in the gym and this guy started talking me up in the steam room. Thought it was very odd that he kept talking about his incredible "business" but kept saying he can't tell me what it was. He asked for a card, calls me days later, and asks me to come meet him at a coffee shop...

Does anyone else agree that SERVICE is the greatest gift?

    MINDSET
I'm really curious what other people think about this mindset, as it has been in my head ever since MFL and the parts about "thinking less about money, and more how to create value". I have heard many other entrepreneurial leads talk about how service is the greatest gift, and in fact it is...

    2 years without weed.

    HEALTH
Congrats! I'm about 2 years as well. Hadn't even touched it until I was 22 years old, but spent 22-24 using heavily. It's absolutely not harmless in my opinion and completely wasted two years of my life. Terrible for motivation, and in the end wasn't even relaxing. Sent from my SM-A520W...

Where to learn FINANCE? (For a Fastlaner)

    INVESTING
yup in canada it was neare $85. Going to go for the kindle version lol. Video is great though. Again, even thought I understand the concepts already, to see how it all relates to the general economy and business was great to see!

Where to learn FINANCE? (For a Fastlaner)

    INVESTING
Thank you for the great resources! Going to watch the video this afternoon. I guess I don't have a specific subject I want to learn as I'm such a beginner in this subject, just want to start somewhere. The book looks great as well! Sounds like a good start

Why so many people choose the Slowlane

    SLOWLANE
Absolutely - I agree with what he says that people "fear losses". In sales, especially (I can't remember where I learned this concept), many people get it wrong where they try to sell some sort of GAIN, rather than a potential loss. IE: If you don't use this product you could lose "X". Fear of...

Where to learn FINANCE? (For a Fastlaner)

    INVESTING
Hey All! What are some good books/resources to learn finance/investing and economics? There seems to be a lot of resources out there, however I'm unsure if this is another subject the slowlane preachers lie to us about in mainstream books. I want to have a better understanding both for my...

Anyone involved in Worldwide Dream Builders/Amway?

    HOT!
You have a better chance getting "rich" with a day job. When it ends (and they always do), you will have isolated your friends and contacts, wasted hours of precious time training and going to meetings, spent a ton of money on training and products, and left wondering what the hell happened. The...

    Unsupportive spouse

    HOT! MINDSET
I agree on this! You can't fault people for being un-supportive if they're living a scripted life. My girlfriend didn't understand why I would quit my job - she wanted to get a mortgage and a dog, etc. Had some pretty heated arguments. Me suddenly being an entrepreneur wasn't in her life plan...

Is there an audiobook for Unscripted with MJ DeMarco narrating?

MFL was like MJ delivering a sermon, really liked it. Unscripted audiobook is great too. I'm thinking recording an audio book is no easy feat. I'd rather hire for it, myself. Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk

Is mortgage ever a good idea for a fastlaner? [ADVICE NEEDED]

    IDEA
These are BOTH very helpful and interesting takes on this. I supposed there is an opportunity cost associated with using over $200k to pay off a property when this can be reinvested. I suppose I am trying to balance the ideologies, it seems some entrepeneurs - even fastlaners have different...

2018 Fastlane Summit - Ticket Swaps

    MEETUPS
Not sure if this has been asked already, but are there plans to expand attendance capacity in the coming years, or is it out of scope for the type of event you want to run? Seems like there's hundreds of people who couldn't get tickets.
