    Bump for this question =)

    Anyone having problems posting?

    OFF-TOPIC
It's probably the forum's spam filter. You probably have a word or two in there it doesn't like. Used to happen to me all the time.

    Help With Affiliate Blog?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Those types of links should be totally safe as long as the content is unique. And like joona said, there's really only one way to find out. On adding content, you could try but I wouldn't expect it to remove any penalty. This is what's truly remarkable to me. Even after doing a manual...

    Help With Affiliate Blog?

    WEB/DIGITAL
From just a quick look at your backlink profile, it looks a little spammy IMO. Lot of blogroll links and forum profiles on unrelated sites. Probably overoptimized for your keywords too. You might try building out 30 web2.0's with unique content, 2-3 pages each, with some pics / videos on...

Start a web-based business, that way you're not limited to selling in just your area, you can sell your product / service to anyone in the world. =) If you haven't yet, pick up a copy of MJ's book; it will help get you in the right mindset to look for problems to solve / needs to fulfill and...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (2012)

    GOLD!
Good point. I have a follow-up question though... I seen the $300 cart option on Interspire's site that you mentioned, but is that a multi-license or do you have to pay $300 per domain? I didn't see anywhere that they mentioned it. If it's multi-license, that's a heck of a deal! Thanks...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (2012)

    GOLD!
Hey, I noticed you said you don't like the wordpress shopping carts and it made me think of a question... What type of cart would you recommend if someone was just testing out a niche and wanted something cheap and easy to set up? And if they found that they were making sales on the simple...

It *could* be, depending on where the OP lives. What if his living expenses were 1/6 of what ours are here in the U.S.?

Yeah I noticed that too. I could be completely wrong about the guy, but from watching his video on niche research and looking at his monthly earnings, I'd say that he's not *doing* what he's *teaching*. Kinda the same thing that MJ talks about regarding Suze Orman, David Bachman, and the...

Hey thanks for the recommendation Amail. I'd never heard of Pat Flynn before; looks like he has a pretty cool site, going to check it out. Rep++ (Edit - I watched one of his videos on niche selection and I'm not impressed, haha) P.S. Welcome to the forum Bemmu! Great of you to stop by. =)

My Fastlane Plan - I WILL do it

I'd probably leave the details for a B&P presentation, but let's just say there's traffic sources out there other than google. Ouch! Sorry to hear that Stayer.

My Fastlane Plan - I WILL do it

No, you're correct. A big website usually provides more value and is probably a lot more likely to be fastlane. But from some stuff I've been testing lately as a side project, I believe that it's possible to put together some little mini-sites (5 pages of content or less) and still earn some...

My Fastlane Plan - I WILL do it

I'd have to respectfully disagree here. I totally think it could be done. I've been playing around with this type of stuff lately and created a few mini-sites, and am thinking about doing something similar to what the OP mentioned, albeit on a smaller scale. And I think that, if done right...

I guess I left out mentioning that as long as your keywords are 'buy phrase' keywords, having traffic - easy to make sales, I figured that was assumed. But even with your site that gets lots of traffic, you're still able to get sales in the forms of advertisements, correct?

    New Business Direction

    WEB/DIGITAL
I guess it could be, but what I was specifically referring to was trying to compete for keywords that are getting tens of thousands of searches a month instead of a couple / few thousand searches a month. Pretend that your website is a roadside billboard. Do you think you'd get reach...

I've found that instead of trying to create traffic where little to none exists, it's better to go where the already existing traffic is and set up shop there.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but this is basically what I asked in someone else's thread a week or so ago and got mega-flamed for it, haha. This is truly the biggest piece of the puzzle for any website. Have traffic - easy to make sales. Have little to no traffic - hard to make sales.
