    My perspective on this - It sounds like you're trying to sell your service to someone that's not looking to buy. From my experience it's a hundred times easier to make a sale when people are already looking to buy what you're selling.

    Depends how your marketing your site. Is there a forum related to your target market that you can join? That could be a good source. There's also adwords and SEO to bring in targeted traffic. Just make sure you do proper keyword research ahead of time.
