    Foundations, the trigger, reaching olympus

    EXECUTION
Customer discovery & market validation are extremely useful. Asking friends/family for feedback--even if they're your target market--is dicey though, since they're won't give you unvarnished feedback. Talk to strangers in your target market--if strangers love it & want to pay cash for what you...

    Panic Setting In

    INTRO
Yep--your job & past jobs are a freaking gold mine of ideas, because you have insider knowledge. Don't discount that knowledge as an asset. Agree. Having no income while you try to figure out how to start a business creates stress & desperation, which cloud & poison your thinking. Use the day...

My Business Idea Generate $1500-2000 Month Help Needed

    IDEA
And any student who's looking to scam their way out of learning would also be willing to scam a stranger (i.e., you) on the internet.

    My dad is getting screwed

    PEOPLE
It sounds like the pain of his current situation isn't big enough to force any change. Kinda like having a sh*tty job, and complaining about it but doing nothing to change the situation. Sometimes, questions are a more powerful way to lead someone to see their situation in a different light...

To pursue something with (potentially) more scale, or to continue project with a proven cx base?

    MINDSET
Some questions to consider: Does your current business pay for itself & your living expenses? How much could you realistically grow your current business--10%, 30%, 50%, 500%? What % of your time does your current business take? Have you considered additional ways to monetize your customers &...

Got a little block in my mind

    MINDSET
The best way to validate is to talk to your potential customers/market. If there's only lukewarm interest, you haven't found a viable pain point--yet. Keep digging--there's a high probability there's some other problem they're willing to pay to have solved.

How franchisee business work with examples

You might want to peruse the franchisors on www.franchise.org, and take a look at the info that the franchisors provide to franchisees. You could also request info from franchisors in the real estate (or similar) space--as if you were a potential franchisee--so you can see how they're set up...

    Buy a fast lane?

Agree. If you want to get started in business by buying an existing business, start with something smaller--where you won't be destroyed financially if the business fails. Decide how much you can currently afford to pay for the cost of tuition to learn how to operate & grow a business.

So I have 500 crustaceans living in my room...

    EXECUTION
Indeed--isopods might have benefits over using beetles/roaches for cleanup.

Thinking Big but Starting Small to Earn first $1

    EXECUTION
Cool! Not sure if this might be useful as a resource or partner, but here in the United States', the film industry is mainly project-driven, where the animators & VFX people get hired on contract for a movie. The movie/studio might a single person, small teams, large teams, etc. The teams...

So I have 500 crustaceans living in my room...

    EXECUTION
Oh, and something else to consider--I think MJ might've mentioned it in TMF: If you suddenly had 10,000 customers wanting to buy from you, could you serve them all? If not, what could you sell that could meet the demand of 10,000 potential customers.

That's cool--and so niche! Way outside the typical businesses people start. And I can't imagine you'd have much competition. Like, how many other isopod experts are there who are ALSO entrepreneurs? It's like a Venn diagram of 2 miniscule segments of the population. OK, I've got some ideas...

As long as you have a very specific profile for your target customer, that'll point you in the right direction. Then you can figure out how to best reach them so you can get soft & hard validation. (Soft validation = "Yeah, I'd pay for that", hard validation = "Here's my credit card").

Ecommerce is not a niche--it's more like a channel through which you sell. For 3D rendering services, that's a skillset, not a niche. A niche is more of a market of customers/clients. If you target a specific customer niche, you'll be able to create/discover a much more specific...
