CENTS spreadsheet + Entry/Need Formula
Glad my input was helpful to you. As a fellow digital marketer, I can't help but add... Be careful about attaching too much weight to data from Google keyword planner. Digital marketers everywhere are constantly frustrated by the fact that this data is notoriously inaccurate (when it can be...- Bekit

CENTS spreadsheet + Entry/Need Formula
I love the idea of a spreadsheet for vetting ideas, but I think it has to be a lot more nuanced than this in order for it to actually give you any useful results. For instance, in your need-and-entry-formula.png image, the top result is something that has 4400 "average monthly searches." My...- Bekit

This is what happened after I knocked 75 doors. (Real Estate)
FTEI love how you articulated such a great message about fear and confidence as it relates to the opportunity to draw people out, get them talking, ask questions, and see if they will open up. I also love the progression you depicted: Day 1 - you noticed that people actually were nice, and you...- Bekit

July's Book Discussion - Vote Now (1 week only)
VOTE NOW!I watched two youtube videos where Chris Voss gave a lecture, and they were both amazing. Ever since, I've wanted to read Never Split the Difference. So I'm voting for that one. 'Deaths of despair' soaring among Gen Z & millennials: 'It's the economy, stupid'
OFF-TOPICI have a 93-year-old relative who was my grandfather's first cousin. We call him Tigg. He's sharp as a tack, hilarious, cheeky, and still living with his wife in his own home. They've been married for 72 years and they both claim they've never had an argument. Great source of perspective on the...- Bekit

The road to wealth is simple: Drive a crappy car
HOT! INVESTINGI don't get the preoccupation that people have with cars. A few years back, I met a girl from Orlando. She worked at Disney. Her father and mother also both worked at Disney. They all made just barely above minimum wage. The three of them shared (I think) either a studio apartment or a...- Bekit

Phone/Email List of Business Owners?
MARKETINGCraig Simpson is someone I trust, and he has a great resource page up with a lot of educational materials about direct mailing, obtaining lists, etc. Direct Mail Solutions (Look under "lists of vendors" to get what he considers to be reputable sources.) I've been on his mailing list ever since...- Bekit

Morale decrease
MINDSETHi Adam, I read your intro thread to see if it would give me more insight. (Here it is if anyone else wants to take a look. INTRO - Hello from Poland ) So it sounds like nothing is working out the way you would like it to work. You have a loan to pay back, a job where you work 6 hours a...- Bekit

23y/o, Chronically Ill, Want to Shoot Higher
INTROI like it. Thumbs up!! The beauty of being a hub is that you don't have to be the expert at style... You can just be the person who pulls together a lot of (sometimes) conflicting information and synthesizes it for people. That is a huge role! I love it!- Bekit

Best Slowlane Job Recommendations?
SLOWLANERight now, if you're a skilled worker, you'll be in demand and command a pretty high wage... it looks like for the rest of your life. A Warning for Young Guys: Money is NOT the way to solve your Girl Problems
HOT!Speaking of copywriting... I'm kind of amused at this whole thread, seen through the lens of copywriting. Let's assume, like someone said above, that women are the buyers and men are the sellers. Now, the sale begins. Copywriting 101: Listen to your audience. Reflect their language back to...- Bekit

Protein Bar Brand Idea
IDEANo, I don't think you should shift to "all allergies." I bought some grain free protein bars at Costco the other day, and the main ingredient was nuts. I remember thinking to myself, "Oh man, I sure am glad I don't have a nut allergy too. What would I eat???" So it may not be possible for you...- Bekit

INTROWelcome to the forum, @Hopeful ! Sounds like you have something special there. A couple of thoughts... 1) It's not easy to make money blogging anymore. A Warning for Young Guys: Money is NOT the way to solve your Girl Problems
HOT!He doesn't have to keep me away from other guys. I made a commitment to him when I married him. Keeping that commitment is my choice. It's an issue of my personal character, not of biology or of him "keeping me from other guys." He doesn't have to protect me from other guys because he trusts me...- Bekit

A Warning for Young Guys: Money is NOT the way to solve your Girl Problems
HOT!MJ asked for a woman to weigh in. In no particular order, here's how my husband captured me, despite the fact that he is overweight, average-looking, and poor. I say that not to be mean, just to say that that stuff didn't factor in to the decision (or at least, didn't outweigh the pluses in...- Bekit

Private Label Brand selling Ecological House-Hold Goods
EXECUTIONCouple of thoughts... 1) Can you create a product that works? I cleaned houses for a living a while back. I HATED the "ecological" products because they never worked. I had to use TONS more elbow grease to achieve the same result as a nice "bad-for-you" chemical product. Or I couldn't get any...- Bekit
