Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Discussion (And Predictions)
HOT! CRYPTO CHATThis is just a hunch. But I think the US dollar is going to be replaced by some blockchain-based currency as the world's reserve currency. Whether it's Bitcoin or another one, I don't know. But I'm just going to stick my neck out there and say this is my prediction based on my current understanding.- Bekit

Blaise Brosnan Discusses Business Survival During C0VlD-19
Simple. I type almost as fast as people speak. AND I get a lot more out of what I'm listening to if I take notes this way. I developed this ability in college, because I would sit in class and get so bored from the slow pace that the lecturer was teaching that at the end of the class I would...- Bekit

The Worldwide C0VlD-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Discussion Thread...
HOT!In other words, when will the sidewalker and the slowlaner wake up and realize that they're in a whole new reality that they haven't remotely adjusted to? When will it stop tasting sweet to bring in extra money for no work? When will they come to the inescapable conclusion that this is very...- Bekit

The Worldwide C0VlD-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Discussion Thread...
HOT!I've been taking screenshots from the Worldometer site when we reached certain milestones. Here's when the world reached 1, 2, and 3 million cases: Observations: It took ~4 months to go from 0-1 million cases. Then it took only 13 days to go from 1 million to 2 million cases. The fact that...- Bekit

Blaise Brosnan Discusses Business Survival During C0VlD-19
Thanks for the share, Andy! From other things you've shared by Blaise, I knew this would be good. I've only listened to the first 30 minutes so far, but it's really valuable stuff. Fair warning for anyone else who plays this video: During the first couple of minutes, this video was almost...- Bekit

How can I relate Industrial engineering to a business?
MINDSETRight on! You've got this! I just noticed that you're in Chile. There's a massive amount of chatter at the moment about how "Mexico is going to be the new China." Imagine an American executive tasked with moving a production line to Mexico. But he doesn't speak Spanish. And he doesn't...- Bekit

I got rejected everywhere I went
MINDSETThanks for sharing your post. I have a few thoughts to share: Watch the language that you use. "I can't" is a very destructive phrase to permit into your vocabulary. I'm sorry that you have experienced so much rejection. I believe you will find that many people here on the forum have...- Bekit

How can I relate Industrial engineering to a business?
MINDSETThe way you make money in any business is the same: you provide value and meet a need. Right now, the supply chains and logistics worldwide are broken and will have to be rebuilt. So there's a natural wide open door for you to step into, claim your territory, and make good money while making...- Bekit

HOT!Thanks for sharing this link. I hadn't heard of this guy. Appreciate the info! So this was kind of how they stumbled upon the use of ClO2 in the first place. A guy named Jim Humble was traveling in a remote part of South America, I think on a gold mining (?) trip. A few guys on his crew came...- Bekit

I have a great innovative product, How do I make people aware of it?
MARKETINGIt's something you'd probably negotiate on a case-by-case basis. Bigger influencers probably have standard policies for the compensation they expect from brands that are soliciting that they review a product.- Bekit

I have a great innovative product, How do I make people aware of it?
MARKETINGIf both of these things are true, reach out to all the mommy bloggers with a free product in exchange for them to write an article sharing their opinion. Do this in a coordinated manner so that the internet blows up with a ton of articles that are all gushing about, "Oh my goodness, I used to...- Bekit

HOT!/rant incoming/ This needs to be said. I'm building up some absolute fury at how this is being handled. Quarantines are for sick people. The sick are the ones who should be quarantined. HOT!For this to be valid, it rests on the assumption that (A) Hitler is the worst expression of evil that we could possibly draw a comparison to and (B) The thing that we're comparing to Hitler is so far beneath the level and scale of what Hitler did that it's unworthy of the comparison. I think...- Bekit

General thoughts on the following article?
INVESTINGI am a millennial. The 2008 recession hit me hard. Despite having a college degree, it took me until I was over 30 before I made more than $20,000/year. I just BARELY managed to buy a house in 2018. It's a 1-story, 912 square foot house with no basement. And that felt like a miracle to me...- Bekit

HOT!This is what REALLY concerns me. This makes absolutely no sense. We are in for food shortages and food being sold to the highest bidder. Pulled Over by Police (due to COVID) Do I Talk?
HOT! OFF-TOPICI haven't gotten pulled over very many times, but it has always been a polite, cordial interaction with limited talking. I've never had a speeding ticket, and I drive like a granny.
