Lifetime passive income: The Paycheck Pot In Action

    GOLD! HOT! INVESTING
@MJ DeMarco I don't disagree with this strategy to achieve income for the paycheck pot. I do think it is probally more active than many would want and requires some skill as well. I for example am ramping up my new business and not looking so much at the stock market. So I've been personally...

Post Your Stock Picks: Massive Growth, Dividend, or Other!

    INVESTING
You know @MJ DeMarco it was very odd on my investment website Investor Junkie. The readers were mostly salaried individuals. I surveyed them about the topics they wanted to hear. I initially wanted to cover entrepreneurship for the very reason you mention - control. It is the best way to...

MJ talks about living off of 3.5% interest from bonds for life. But is he correct?

    INVESTING
As someone who just sold my business last year, yes you can live off your interest. You have already won the game, so taking crazy risks on say $10M is stupid. I take risks in the businesses I own since I have more control over them. You want to build an income that's at least the risk-free...

Does your "get rich" internet guru only make $28K/yr?

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
This is great topic since I'm getting into this space in some level. As obviously there are a lot of wankers who not done anything near what I did. Yet the marketing style of the lambo works at some level, but you are also then attracting that type of person. It can be a double edged sword...

The road to wealth is simple: Drive a crappy car

    HOT! INVESTING
I owned shitty cars for many years and I'm sure I lost GFs because of the shitty cars I owned. Now look at me :) Their loss...

Quora as a marketing channel, anyone?

    HOT! MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
I used it last year with Investor Junkie and may again this year with my personal brand as it ties in better as well. Results we meh at the time, but they have improved their algos. I think organic still does better with them.

A Silly approach to cryptocurrency investing???

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
I wasn't speaking to you specifically just what I've seen with most. HODL. I've already stated why it's a bad idea to just own cryptos if you are expecting a hyperinflation/doomsday situation.

Tired of Paying Taxes? Move Your Business to Puerto Rico

    TAXES | REGS
I've considered doing this as my next venture. Can you tell me any pitfalls or issues you've had doing this? Where did you move from in the US? What are things you like about PR? What do you hate about PR?

A Silly approach to cryptocurrency investing???

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
People were buying crypto in Venezuela because of the government was subsidizing electric. So they were mining for free. Until the government put a stop to this. They threated any miners would serve jail time. Easy to spot individuals with the huge electric usage lol. Also, note that Venezuela...

A Silly approach to cryptocurrency investing???

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
Ok look at history, people resort to bartering than using things like gold in times of economic chaos. Hence cart parts, because it's something people need to survive. They need transportation. I'm NOT suggesting gold or crypto won't have any value, but rather other more daily items will be...

A Silly approach to cryptocurrency investing???

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
If you really think the shit will hit the fan than crypto or gold is a shitty way to store value. History shows otherwise and it's more practical items. In Venezuela, people were using car parts in one WSJ article from a few years ago. I'm not a gold bug but do own it. I own some gold and...

Agree except for the "Bio-Tech Marijuana Stocks". A few years ago it was 3D printer companies. If it's popular more than likely you are at the wrong part of the wave. Best time is to hit it when it crashed like we saw beginning of this year with cryptos.

A Silly approach to cryptocurrency investing???

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
Let me be clear with cryptos are (not ICOs mind you) are currencies. What are currencies? A store of value. Instead of having to trade your one goat for two sheep you use a currency to make a more accurate transfer of value. Forget for a moment that crytpos still aren't good currencies for...

I think your first mistake is thinking that putting money into cryptocurrencies is investing. It's a hedge, a bet, a trade. It is NOT an investment.

Anyone Use Peerstreet For Short Term Placements?

I spoke quite a bit with the founder. Nothing I've found wrong with the service, just realize what type of investment you are getting into and the risks with it. It's definitely not for everyone (as most of the RE investment services). Realize these are short-term debt obligations.

What would you like to know? I never used them myself but have invested with other RE services.
