    Journey to Fastlane

    EXECUTION
The universe works in mystery ways... As mentioned a few posts above. I sell digital media for my 9-5. Any salesperson worth their weight should be making over $100,000 a year. FYI - if you are in sales and this number looks unattainable to you look at the industry you're in, the company you...

    Journey to Fastlane

Short and sweet update for right now. We just got a verbal yes to a venture capital investment that values us at $750,000. This is only a 3 month old idea/company. Lots of updates to come and hopefully some good learning moments over the next month while we close. 2020 shaping up to be a wild...

Hi @Kid thanks for the follow-up. Has definitely been a roller coaster ride (and I’m still on it, and hope to stay on it). Was there anything specific you were looking to get more information on in regards to Sales? Pretty broad subject - but I am happy to help out however I can. I’ve been in...

Here’s an analogy for you... Baseball player walks up to the plate. It’s halfway through the season. A win or loss at this point in the season won’t have much sway on where either team finishes the year. Takes two strikes and three balls. Sixth pitch, “steeeee-rike!” Strike out. His team...

    2020 Fastlane Summit, Confirmed Speakers

    MEETUPS
Was just talking to my wife about being able to pull this off. Coming in from Canada, so call it $1,500 flights + $1,200 hotel + $500 ticket. Consensus was that $3,200 is a ton of money (and it is). But I’ll be damned if this first batch of released speakers doesn’t make me want to reopen the...

    GOLD! IDEA
Great great thread. Great great site. NEED and scale are two of, if not the most, important parts of a successful business venture. Does anyone have any further resources or books on developing your ability to observe people’s needs on a daily basis? Basically looking for help in opening up my...

My First Time Cold-Emailing Web Design Clients. I'd Love a Critique!

    HOT! MARKETING
What a giant waste of time you just took today. You got the email and it was not filled out properly, so instead of just putting it in the trash you decided to google the words in it and come to this forum and critique someone who is trying to start a business and who made a mistake? Get a life...

    Business Credit

Dude. WTF. Why in the world are you thinking about this? First, you don’t build credit just by setting up a shell company and doing nothing with it. You build credit by borrowing funds and paying them back. Showing lenders that you are credit worthy. As the business grows, the level of...

    How to invest $10,000

Whaaaaa?? How in the world is this helpful advice?? We don’t know if there is 100 other “home painting companies” in his area. We don’t know if he is physically able to hold a paint roller or be on his feet all day. This kind of advice is the exact opposite of what he should do. He should...

    How to invest $10,000

Before spending any the $10,000 I would spend $50 and buy the two books featured on this site The Millionaire Fastlane and Unscripted. Read them front to back, then back to front, then read them again. Become familiar with the concepts, the methods and the goals within them. Know it inside out...
