Fiance is calling my business "his/our" business, threatening to sue me

    HOT!
Just because you care about someone doesn't mean you should involve them in business affairs. I've tried this before and I'm really not a fan of the whole dynamic it creates if the relationship itself isn't on absolutely concrete footing. Relationships alone are extremely emotional things. As...

    Is this normal in sales?

    SIDE HUSTLE
First impression, it sounds like the offer and prospect aren't lining up directly with those numbers. I have personally been in that type of environment selling SEO services, and 1 or 2 deals a month was a good month. If you're calling on prospects that can directly benefit from the companies...

Fastlane Exit ??? What do I do???

Congrats! Lots of unanswered questions come up in my mind though: Can you continue growing the monthly revenue from your current position or have you squeezed the market for what it's worth? Are you bored with the business or still in love with it? Is the business passive or can it be made...

Quit My Job, 3rd Time's the Charm: Trailer Park Edition

    GOLD!
Glad to hear you guys enjoyed it! It really got me thinking as I was reliving those experiences, of how embarrassed I was of my failures at the time. However, in retrospect, it was nothing to be embarrassed of at all. I tried my a$$ off and failed my a$$ off. And because of those actions, it...

    Shifting Gears

    INTRO
Welcome! You've definitely come to the right place. Been there done that. There is a good reason why I don't chase after the big dogs, and it is for that reason specifically. You become a slave to their needs and at their beck and call. There is a happy medium that I have found right before you...

Part 2: The Slowlane S-E-Slowwww I started training immediately, and applied all of the new stuff I was taught to my already existing knowledge. I got dangerous, fast. I was taking client accounts and calls in short time and getting them stellar results all along the way. I was making a...

Quit My Job, 3rd Time's the Charm: Trailer Park Edition

    GOLD!
Yesterday I quit my $xxx, xxx job so I can work on my business that has $xxx, xxx, xxx potential, full-time. Went smoothly, no hard feelings, learned a lot and provided a lot of value. It was actually not bad for a JOB, but not the environment for a guy like me to be able to really THRIVE. Enjoyed...

Stop what you're doing. Get a line of credit.

    HOT!
Lol interestingly enough the branch I went to was a former Four Oaks Bank that was acquired by them. That was actually the guy that didn't even know they offered a BLoC! He did call me back the next day though, limit was $25k and the fees were pretty bad from what I remember from the voicemail.

Stop what you're doing. Get a line of credit.

    HOT!
Update: 2 weeks later, still no final response from PNC. I've never made a credit request and had to wait this long for a response. I did receive email correspondence from a loan closing officer, but she said it should be by end of this week. At this point, I'm not counting on it...

Are You Weak? This Exercise Will Show You

    HOT! MINDSET
Comfort is the enemy. Luckily I learned this lesson early on through being forced to face fears (real physical ones) and it has just rolled out into the rest of my life. The more you challenge yourself, the more uncomfortable you are, the stronger and more resilient you become in all facets of...

    MARKETING
Good stuff Dennis, and welcome back! I too am getting into video production for my ad management business. It's a powerful medium that isn't used nearly as much as it could be. For example, yesterday I did a 6 minute talk about saving (big) clients money. Today I outlined the process my company...

O Sh*t! How I accidentally became unemployed, and what I'm doing about it.

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
It can. Personally, if I don't want to do something, I'll price it high enough to make it worth my while if I do end up doing the work. And 1 client is as risky as risky gets. I don't know how service business that only serve a single, large client sleep at night. It's a total lack of control...

O Sh*t! How I accidentally became unemployed, and what I'm doing about it.

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
My only advice, pick up the phone and dial. Again. And again. And again. Then take a break and figure out how to do it better. Then do it again.

Gun to Your Head, Make 10k in a Week

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
I'd pick up the phone and dial. Oh wait... Or hop on Bitmex with $1000 and play the crypto lottery on BTC swings with 100x leverage. $100k would be a bit more exciting IMO. The knowledge and ability come from Fastlane principles and years of practice.
