    Good idea or bad?

    IDEA
I used one at physical therapy after I dislocated my knee and I loved it. It would be great to have one for when my knee bugs me. I just did some research on one and it is a class 2 medical device. There are a few posts on here about getting the FDA to approve medical devices but I don’t...

+1 to this. I wasn’t able to attend but I still enjoyed checking out this thread each day and seeing all the photos. Great inspiration for me to make sure I make it out next year. Thanks @Robert_R and all others.

Use Forums and Surveys for Market Validation

Use free forums and surveys to have your target market validate and make changes to your idea for you. Without spending a dime. You don't even have to be an active member of the community. I created my account on the forum I used to get my idea back in 2015 and had 7 total posts on it. I...

If you want to be a millionaire by 25 then get a Saturday job

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
I’m 17, just like you so I’ll give you a piece of advice and then say what my plan is. 1. Make sure your parents are on board with any business BEFORE you decide to start. I started a business importing things from China and selling them. I grew my Instagram account to over 1k followers and had...

What would you do at 16?

    HOT!
Thanks for the input but I can tell you’re new here. Read one of MJ’s books (take notes on it). You have your paths backwards. The easy path is going to college and getting a job. That’s why everyone and their dog does it. Of course starting a business is risky and just about every person on...

How can I best help you guys improve your public speaking?

I like the idea of a VR app. It’d be a way to easily simulate the pressure of actually speaking to an audience. But as you said, not many people have VR headsets. I think your challenge will be recreating the experience of speaking to an audience.

How can I best help you guys improve your public speaking?

I think that building a community and allowing that community to give each other feedback would be extremely helpful. For me, tips and compliments from an audience is helpful and lets me know what I need to work on for next time.

Help! I'd like to start a streetwear brand.

Why streetwear over a different business? Is there really a NEED for another street wear brand? Yeah sure it’s a multi billion dollar industry but there are many other multi billion dollar industries out there where there are NEEDS and PROBLEMS to be solved.

New Business Models for Post-Net Neutrality Era

There’s a NEED for this in rural America. Companies overload their servers so that the internet doesn’t work and their customer service might be the worst on the planet. At least 3 days a week for 3+ hours my internet just doesn’t work. I don’t know if satellite is the solution because it’s...

[Progress] Sanctus Nutrition - Supplement Company (and first real entrepreneurial pursuit)

    NOTABLE!
If your target market is 29-34 year olds I don’t think Instagram will be your most effective route. Most people on Instagram are under 25. For social proof for that target market I think you’ll be better off on Facebook.
