The Worldwide C0VlD-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Discussion Thread...

    HOT!
It's a little hard to listen to rants about "grifters, scam artists, and incompetent morons" and that "the CDC should be disbanded, their leadership tossed in a concrete cell" -- when you're currently living effectively at Ground Zero in the US. (WA has highest instances in USA) I'm here (FLF)...

The Worldwide C0VlD-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Discussion Thread...

    HOT!
Young and healthy people are now carriers. This covid19 remains dormant for a long time with everyone, and kids will bring it home to grandma or to their dad who has asthma and heart disease. Washington State has around 60 deaths in about a week. "Normal Flu" has killed 60 in five months in the...

How do I go Fastlane as an Attorney?

    HOT!
"I'm the Walmart of the legal profession" sounds much different than "I'm the Nieman Marcus of the law profession" Walmart is great for buying storage bins or a basketball. Comparing Neiman Marcus to Walmart implies purchasing clothing, which is an important distinction in the analogy with...

How do I go Fastlane as an Attorney?

    HOT!
No. Should not be "cheap." Know your value. You wanna be the Neiman Marcus of law firms, not the Walmart. Yep. THIS IS HOW. This guy I recently heard of - Sam Molleai. He never meets his clients one-on-one. He is tech savvy and puts everything into packages. Recorded all his stuff already...

Primary vendor raising its costs by 150% forces innovation (command of Control)

    EXECUTION
UPDATE: 12 days later the app is done. It is now useful and successfully replaces the previous system I had to work with. Number one goal was to make something useful and I've accomplished that. It is visually unappealing with no cosmetic additions. But 100% functional. Good enough is better...

Primary vendor raising its costs by 150% forces innovation (command of Control)

    EXECUTION
NEW APPROACH? Given that I know fairly well what this app will look like, and what it can do for people, I am wondering... Maybe I might want to start selling it immediately, even before I have a working model for my own use. At the current pace, no more than a month or two to completion for my...

    Creating an app

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
How much can you learn yourself? How savvy are you with the technology that it takes to build it? In order to get someone else to help you build your app, you need to be able to provide clear instructions to the agency or developer about what you want accomplished. The more you dig into what it...

Primary vendor raising its costs by 150% forces innovation (command of Control)

    EXECUTION
UPDATE: In ten days I've written 300 lines of code that get all the results I need. The expense is going from, for example, a vendor cost of $12 (or $30 after the 150% rise) to $3 per instance using my new solution -- a fraction of the vendor's cost. This code includes three new features that...

My 23yo kid now enjoys passive income (before I get to)

Wow. There are two giant milestones for him this week. Both are very significant. He told me them in this order. 1. He had his very first ever panic attack. He had no idea how intense it could be. Evidently, he had some stuff he was trying to get accomplished but then had to go to work...

Google search has now slowed me down!

    RANT
yup. excessive information. I liked the url underneath. Yep. I was previously able to scroll past ads because of "AD" icon, but now the icon also shows. I am typically looking up terms that are quite random. I need spellings, context, maybe location if it's a city name. I think I have been...

Google search has now slowed me down!

    RANT
I look up terminology every day. Have you noticed what happened with Google this week? The searches now fill each result with (on the first line) a brand icon, the source URL, followed by the URL's keyterms or interior pages, and then an arrow dropdown to select "cached" ... and all this is...

Primary vendor raising its costs by 150% forces innovation (command of Control)

    EXECUTION
Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be looking around for how I can eliminate my reliance on this particular vendor. For about three years, the service they provided me with has been a perfect fit for my system, a perfect cog in my business wheel. They wrote that they're raising my cost per...

    I've Read The Millionaire Fastlane!

    GOLD! HOT!
Still, years later, the concepts in this book are fundamental to my thinking now. In fact I've shared it with anyone I can share it with. I've sent it to three or four bosses/clients, I've bought it for my two kids, one of whom has really launched into what could be a fastlane lifestyle. I keep...

My 23yo kid now enjoys passive income (before I get to)

My phone call with him yesterday -- two things that I was very pleased to hear about. First, he's got an entire team of people working for him. I knew he had recently attained some management, but he actually has three reps, each one being particularly savvy with something, maybe legal, agent...

My 23yo kid now enjoys passive income (before I get to)

I gave both my boys RDPD at a young age, one got the book, and the other got the comic version of that book. TMF went to each kid at different moments when I thought they could use it. Younger one hasn't bothered to read it yet, but that's kinda his M.O. about stuff at the moment. This is what...

    Started my fist Fiverr gig

    SIDE HUSTLE
My main work is via Fiverr. Welcome aboard! It took me time to polish my copy and create the video. But it was worth it. Your first pass needs to be for spelling, within the gig description and within your video. Keep a high bar. Needs to be perfect copy or customers will dismiss outright. Be...
