    Tesla Stock?

    INVESTING
I see Tesla is up 6% already today.

EIN (Employee Identification Number) and IRS

After looking more into how my business should be structured, I think I'm changing mine from a single member LLC that I created into a multi member (2 member) LLC. I need to make mine multi member, give someone like a 2% share for liability reasons and then make it a manager managed LLC so the...

EIN (Employee Identification Number) and IRS

Information on Delaware C-Corp is here: Incorporate Your Business: 3 Dumbest LLC Formation Mistakes When I was researching all the information, I found a lot of what I thought were legitimate places saying its not worth the hassle of incorporating in Delaware or Nevada because of the extra...

    Progress Thread: Craft Brewery Startup

    EXECUTION
Great work on getting this going. I know of someone I graduated high school with that I hear he started up his own brewery as well. I think every guy that enjoys beer has thought to create his own brewery at some point. Speed+ for taking huge action!

EIN (Employee Identification Number) and IRS

I found all my information I needed from this site for LLC's: Limited Liability Company (LLC) | SBA.gov Everything I read about in the field that I wanted to enter said stay away from a sole proprietor as if something goes wrong they can go after your personal assets such as house, cars, etc...

Mark Wahlberg finally gets High School Diploma

The main reason I posted this in here was just because there is a thread going on saying "Is college necessary" I saw that and figured I'd post it showing an example where even high school wasn't necessary for success in life. I know this is the fastlane forum so we'd ideally like to show...

Mark Wahlberg finally gets High School Diploma

It seems pretty relevant to me as there is already a post on him in this forum here: https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/mindset-motivation-choices/37552-mark-wahlberg.html I would think his mindset here is exactly how entrepreneurs should be thinking. "When I said I wanted to be an actor...

Your thoughts on 4HWW model for starting an Importing business....

    SOURCING EXECUTION
Yep it is probably longer than some of these books you find on the subject. MJ should basically just market the Insiders section using that, because the information in that thread alone is worth the money. I'm trying to get into the space now as well and it's amazing how much is there.

Mark Wahlberg finally gets High School Diploma

It's the same type of hard work to get there though. The living in a small apartment with 8 guys trying to build a business and living on ramen noodles in the garage, just like an actor living in a shitty apartment going to 12,000 auditions. It's the one fastlane that MJ says you can't really...

Mark Wahlberg finally gets High School Diploma

I guess this is a perfect example of where formal education isn't needed for success. Since high school is required by law and everyone learns the basis of everything there, I guess you can't really skip out on that unless you want the police at your door. Mark Wahlberg just finally took night...

Is going to college a waste of time?

    HOT!
Yeah, I'm not sure. I was more referring to getting forced into a tunnel by achieving a certain degree at college. Now I'm forcing myself out of this tunnel.

    Approaching Distributors when first starting

JAJT, using your advice and just contacting the suppliers directly to see what they need from me has moved me ahead nicely here. It is a lot of fun finding new revenue streams that you might be able to build a store around. Speaking to the suppliers provides you with product information and...

    My College Questions/Concerns

The device I created was an autonomous vehicle which I controlled with my iPhone. It was fairly basic since we had to create it on the side while taking all our other classes. To move further with it, it would probably be used as a military purpose. To get further with that usage, would...

Is going to college a waste of time?

    HOT!
You largely misquoted me here, as I said it is OK if you get it without having to pay much for it. If it forces you to go into debt then it is no good. I also see you graduated with a degree in entrepreneurism, which I could see that you can't actually learn that well in college atmosphere. I...

    Approaching Distributors when first starting

Thanks for the quick response. Since its the weekend and no one is in the office, I just sent them over an email so I'll see what they say. If no response on Monday I'll give them a call so I can get this going.

    Approaching Distributors when first starting

I am starting up an online e-commerce store and I have a nice group of distributors that I would like to setup a wholesale account with and get started. I have the business created and have the tax id now. The problem which Im sure everyone that has started an Ecommerce store has run into is...

Is going to college a waste of time?

    HOT!
College is ok if you come out of high school with no direction, and can do it on scholarship or grants, which most people unfortunately cannot. My friend went to college with me and he had one job out of college. It was for a software company. He figured out what he did well there and now is...

    My College Questions/Concerns

Don't expect to get the Engineering Degree and all of a sudden have tons of ideas of new inventions. The classes arent really teaching you entrepreneurial skills but more how to become a cog in the employment wheel. I have a Masters in Electrical Engineering and the degree certainly did not...

    Green smoothies

    HOT!
I make a protein smoothie around the time of my workout everyday and it is kind of annoying because it takes about 20 minutes for me to cut up the fruit and have all the other ingredients available. I make enough for two usually, but have to keep it and drink both then usually or they seem to...

    Australia to Vegas to SC...

Mount Pleasant, SC is a nice area. My neighbor's son and family live there and my neighbors drive down to visit about 5 times a year. I will be down in Hilton Head, SC to visit my grandparents that live down there in about 3 weeks. Sounds like you have a good business going. Good luck in...
