Does anyone work for deferred compensation anymore?

When people ask me to program for free, I'll usually explain that I'm not equipped to judge the viability of the business, and that I'd be happy to do the work if they could secure funding from someone skilled in business investments.

How do you control what you eat?

    HEALTH
I'm not a hardcore dieter, but I know I have to stop the junk food from getting to my house. Once it's in my house, I'll for sure eat it. Most likely late at night when I don't have any will power left.

What to look for in 1st used car?

    OFF-TOPIC
My wife and I really liked the info on edmunds.com for buying used cars. We ended up going with a Pontiac Vibe, which you may like. 2012 Used Car Best Bets

Martial Art's Startup. Ideas for internet startup?

    IDEA
If the amount of tv commercials for "Gracie Combatives" was any indication of its success, I'd say there is a market for DVD series.

Legal use of Images for apparel

Feedback - I have an idea I think has real potential. Am I wrong?

    HOT! IDEA
I think almost every town I've lived in has had a site similar to this. Googling Nightlife + your city name will likely find them if they exist.

    Website Help on Start-up Site!

I'm not sure what your needs are. If you're going for Wordpress, I like both Dreamhost and HostGator for cheap hosting. They both have one-click installs for Wordpress.

    Tracking and Analytics

    MARKETING
Google Analytics can do this using custom variables. The only part I'm not 100% sure about is placements on networks other than Adwords. Marketing ideas for a cake shop?

    IDEA MARKETING
I wish more small businesses would re-market more to their previous customers. I like email newsletters the best. At work, every newsletter we send out for ourselves and our clients drums up more business and the ROI is insane. Mainly because cost is so low. Zero resources to collect email...

Idea for Website Testing Service (Usability, Design, Navigation)

    IDEA
We use usertesting.com at work and I hate it. Instead of getting real people role playing our future users, I feel like I get a bunch of want to be web designers telling me tips that they read in an article once. We get tips on their personal color preference and that I should make some stuff...
