The Undercover Billionaire: Building a $1m business in 90 days

    HOT! MINDSET
Whoa. That sounds awesome. This review doesn't seem too flattering though: What do you think @Kak? Worth investing some time into? Or not far enough yet to confirm?

Start your next real estate project ASAP. After that... Go talk to banks to find out what you need for more loans to build faster. Crunch the numbers from the bank and make sure it makes sense (that interest rates are fair) Set up accounting practices or whatever the bank needs to give you loans...

Yeah. This is your fastlane. Using these numbers, it costs you $1,400 total per unit. At $90 profit per month, it will take you 16 months to pay off a unit. That's an unheard of payoff rate in Western real estate. Using your cashflow, this year you have 30 units total. Next year you can...

How do you vet a supplier?

Also, wire transfer and a HK bank account is typical. Nothing suspicious about that.

How do you vet a supplier?

What's the dollar amount of the order? 100% upfront is not typical for most factories. What's most typical is: 30% down. 70% after production before shipping. At a minimum they'll send you pictures. You can also inspect if the dollar amount makes it worth it. These numbers change depending on...

    Fastlane Fasting Friends

    HEALTH
Just competed a 3 day fast. @Bearcorp @MTF @Sander @Timmy C @million$$$smile -- Wanted to thank you guys for the inspiration and motivation. Just had my first meal after 3 days -- avocado toast with two eggs and tomato. Maybe 450 calories total. Feeling like I ate 2,000. It was a bit of a...

Moving to a Cheaper Area to Pay Off debt

    INVESTING
The cheapest place to live for most people is moving back in with their parents. Probably not what you want to hear. Other than that, look up a cost of living calculator and look at the cities that you could potentially live in doing your job. Some places are a lot better than others. For...

    Cold Calling vs Cold Emailing

    HOT! MARKETING
Send an email. Then call. When you call, say: "Hi, this is [Chip01] calling from [thefastlaneforum]. I was wondering if you had a chance to take a look at the email I sent you?" It's that easy. Don't be scared to call. Stop analyzing which is better (aka an excuse to not call), and just call.

A Mass of Mass Shootings... Guns? Or Mental Illness?

    OFF-TOPIC
This sentence really stuck out for me. It's incredibly depressing how everything needs to be "medicated" today - even though the majority of pills do more harm than good. Look up any psychotropic and you'll most likely find the "side effects" outweighing the positives drastically. Even...

Hey @icemat - My diet is very similar to yours. I weigh everything. Count calories. Try to create a 400 calorie deficit per day while getting an adequate amount of protein. However, I don't think that has anything to do with this thread. Read over @MTF 's intro post again: These are the...

The road to wealth is simple: Drive a crappy car

    HOT! INVESTING
Had a guy hit my Volvo in traffic today, on my way to a client. The hazard lights automatically turned on, so the car definitely registered it as a crash. I got out. Took a look. Some of his black paint scraped into my headlight. F*ck it. I waved it off. Got back in the car, and kept driving...
