[PROGRESS] Building a search tool for farmers
EXECUTIONCongrats on the progress!! The High Plains Journal might be a channel that works to get you in front of the right audience. It's a weekly print publication that people typically read from cover to cover. Even their smallest classified ad could get you a fair amount of traction.- Bekit

This ad has been flagged in craigslist
SIDE HUSTLEBoth of your ads have grammatical errors in them that show you are not a native English speaker. Craigslist users are very alert to anything that might be a scam. So be sure to run your copy through grammarly to catch things like this. Two of the common characteristics of the scam ads are (1)...- Bekit

Quick Seo Question
MARKETINGI think that's a solid plan. When I say "old school" SEO, I mean things like keyword stuffing and making pages targeting every possible keyword combination. It's hard to say if I would recommend using these methods today, even if they work, because it looks so spammy. It sounds like your...- Bekit

Quick Seo Question
MARKETINGNo, the penalty for duplicate content is a myth. I wouldn't worry about it. That's actually pretty crazy. It looks as if Google's algorithm is pretty archaic in the case of the German sites. In that case, you may get good results from 'old school' SEO that no longer works in English. Just be...- Bekit

Quick Seo Question
MARKETING@Fid and @Primeperiwinkle and @Sebastya 's advice is solid. Couple more tips... Here's an experiment to show you why the synonyms probably won't matter. Type into Google "lawyer in dallas." Then scroll through the search results that appear. Notice how the word "attorney" is bolded just like...- Bekit

Atlas Shrugged - Week 5: Ch 9 & 10
Today, I feel like it would be the equivalent of Google or Amazon shutting down their operations overnight, just to give everyone the finger. A lot of people's jobs depend on Google's infrastructure. It's not just Google employees and YouTubers. Most of my work depends on G Suite. In 2016...- Bekit

Working in a beauty sphere
OFF-TOPICCongratulations on your diploma! You now have a skill that you can take with you wherever you go to generate income. A fastlane career in the beauty industry is probably not going to come from the typical (scripted) path of being a stylist in a salon, or even from working for yourself, as it's...- Bekit

What I Learned Being A Banker & Interviewing 2k Businesses
Absolute gold! Love, love, love this! I worked as a personal banker in 2013-2014, and I agree 100% with recommending banking as a great way to get a glimpse into the various companies and industries, how they pay, and where there's some great opportunity. Even as a bank teller, you can get...- Bekit

Casl Canada spam compliance
MARKETINGAll you have to do is get (and record) the person's permission to email you. It helps to know the difference between implied permission and express permission. Here are some resources on the topic: http://img.constantcontact.com/docs/pdf/CASL_checklist.pdf ^This PDF has a nice checklist that...- Bekit

How long does it take you to make a week's worth of social media posts? (Am I just really slow?)
HOT! MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIAMore great stuff to respond to... Solid advice. Thank you for the well-thought-out post. One thing I haven't been doing is engaging the audience with meaningful comments. That, I think, would contribute to true growth. I've used Later, which offers the functionality you mentioned (a posting...- Bekit

Person claims its immoral to be rich
HOT!I agree. In fact, let's back up to before there WAS a civilization. I was just thinking about this yesterday as I was eating some chili made with moose and elk that someone had hunted. They made the comment that it was "free meat." And I thought about back in the pioneer days when people...- Bekit
