If selling on your own site the more eBay demand the better the sales will be for you. If selling on eBay I try to keep the number of other sellers to a minimum for obvious reasons. I don't really have any set rules for over X number of sales I carry it and under I don't. I currently have about...

Have you checked eBay to see if there is any demand for the product?

I wouldn't buy from any website that takes 15-30 days to receive the product. That is my guess on why you haven't got any sales. Without further info it is hard to know exactly what the issue is.

I try to keep my cost per conversion below 20% of the total sale price from January- October. In November and December it goes way down to 5-7%. If your margin can't support that much than find your sweet spot. You can still bring in customers with lower bids just not as many.

I would try it for many different keywords. You can test and see what your conversion rate is on each keyword and they adjust your bids accordingly. be sure and set up conversion tracking on your site so you can see what keywords are converting and at what cost per conversion. Another cool...

I use Adwords and Bing to bring in customers (Facebook and Pinterest on a much smaller scale). I send them directly to the page that has the product on it and where they can buy the item. Nothing fancy or difficult at all. I'm still learning marketing tricks etc so I'm sure I could do far more...

I'm afraid there really aren't any golden rules. Ideally you want products that don't have a ton of competition as it drives prices way down in the long time. Terapeak is awesome for locating products/ getting ideas. You can type in really broad keywords and see a huge variety of products and...

Majority of it paid traffic. I average 50-100 visitors a day from organic traffic, the rest is paid. I am currently running around 900 visitors a day but will obviously go up the closer we get to Christmas.

I would order a variety of individual products and start selling them on eBay and see what sells. Once you find one good selling product with good margins then you can build around that product. Without testing and seeing what actually sells in real life you run the risk of setting up a website...

You can definitely just start selling on your existing account. I would definitely recommend selling on eBay for 3-6 months before selling on Amazon. IMO many people who are brand new to selling online try too much at once and either get overwhelmed and give up or get banned from Amazon or eBay...

You don't have to have a business account to start selling on eBay, just get selling. In regards to running an eccommerce site I use shopify. It is simple to set up and pretty inexpensive to run. There are quite a few other competitors to shopify so check them all out and see which works best...

    1. I currently don't have anything listed on Amazon. I am selling solely on stand alone websites. 2. I just carry a bunch of different brands and different products. IMO a brand doesn't matter unless there is something different about it. To just slap my "brand name" on a product or to leave...

    HOT! MINDSET
I just moved (2 months ago) to the Phoenix area from the Midwest. I have never been happier in my life. Almost every day I spend an hour or so in the pool with my family. Every morning I get up and get to enjoy the sunshine and amazing weather. A change in scenery can do wonders!

It doesn't cost any extra to have them all up so I would list them all. If you already have pictures, descriptions, etc on eBay than moving them over will be pretty quick.

    Any ebay sellers on here?

Run away. 99% of the time if someone "pays" outside of eBay it is a scam. They will either send you a fake PayPal email that says you've received the payment when in fact you haven't, or use a compromised PayPal account. Call eBay back and report the buyer as trying to do the transaction outside...

Testing is the answer. I do use terapeak etc but something else that is useful is you can look up other items from an eBay seller... So if you find something on terapeak that has good margins you can find the seller and see if they have something else good as well.

I would see what is selling well in the US and then start testing products. Order 10-20 of an item and see how well they sell. Some items will sell better and others will sell worse. The only way to know would be to test test test.

Awesome job! Way to get out there and get the ball rolling. Since you already sell a variety of different products I would set up one site to sell them all. IMO a niche specific site is better but if you only have one or 2 products per niche that would make it more difficult. I would set up...

h Ok first yes you did quote yourself. "But I explained here why that is bad marketing" so you used your own post to try and validate another post. Second , just because something "was" $497 and is "on sale now" for $39 doesn't mean it was ever meant to sell at that price. In marketing there...

If you have to then yes. Personally, I think $25 is pretty expensive for t shirt. If you could do $19.99 with free shipping I think you would fare far better.
