Lex's Digital/Physical Product Group Accountability Thread
GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONMan, there's no good way to answer that. My honest answer is pretty grim. I don't care about wealth, or about success or building an empire anymore. It's all pointless, so I do what seems fun. But I can't just do what's fun, because I have mouths to feed and bills to pay. So, I try to...- Lex DeVille

HOT! EXECUTIONI'm learning some compound words. At first I was like...wtf, why are these words so damn long!! Spanish would be more useful in the U.S., but I don't find the language as pleasing. I don't run into Germans very often here. Spanish speakers are everywhere. In some places in the U.S., Spanish is...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONID Verification Decided to test without ID verification because it creates a choke point for automation. Guess we'll see how it goes. Google Ads Set up and launched the first ad campaign this morning. Immediately hit with strong restriction. Appealed. Won. First ads are live. Membership...- Lex DeVille

HOT! EXECUTIONNext Course School starts Monday. Ordered my book. Still waiting for its arrival. The course should be relatively easy. It's the first course of the doctoral program. I skipped it while doing the Executive Certificate because it wasn't required at the time. Multiple Courses I'm scheduled for...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONI'm only using it for the digital products, not for t-shirts. Wouldn't make sense for t-shirts. I sold for months without ID verification prior to implementing it. I instituted various versions of money-back guarantees, including lifetime, 90-day, 30-day, and 7-day prior to going forward with...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONMy brand new laptop already died. Don't know what happened. Maybe a power surge or maybe something else. I returned it through Amazon and ordered a different laptop. It arrived today. Progress It's a holiday weekend. I'll take advantage. My top priorities are to get a G Ads campaign launched. I...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONI deal in products and services where there is a high risk of chargebacks. Too many chargebacks and payment processors ban you from their services. You aren't the kind of person who would buy my product. Naturally, you would not do this. But the people who will buy my product also will complete...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONGoing Live I turned off the "Coming Soon" page. The site is now live. It has no traffic because I'm not running ads yet. That's my big goal for tomorrow morning. GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONUpdate I'm close to being *launchable* with my first 9 products. I have two or three pages to finish up. They should be ready by tomorrow. If all goes well, I'll run through pre-launch tests tomorrow and see if I can go live by Monday. Security - 2FA didn't work out with my setup. It messed up...- Lex DeVille

Self-Doubt? This Is Your Competition
HOT! MINDSETProbably more than I should. I'd guess maybe 3 hours a day. I think it's super fun though. Doesn't feel like studying. I'll have less time after this week once things pick up after the holidays, but I think even an hour per day would be plenty. Even just a few minutes per day should increase...- Lex DeVille

Self-Doubt? This Is Your Competition
HOT! MINDSETI'm astonished by how fast I'm picking up the language with this app. My roommate ex-wife is both annoyed and wowed by how many sentences I can say and how I'm applying the language to everyday life. I think I could pass as a German to an American stranger. I must have added hundreds, if not...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONHere's my first update of the new year. Products I consolidated three digital product concepts into one site. I created a new site that fits all three. Self-Doubt? This Is Your Competition
HOT! MINDSETThat's why I have a head start on German, I lived there for four years. I was terrible at communicating back then, but I learned to ask if others spoke English in German and used it everywhere. Thankfully, most Germans speak English because they learn it in school. Now that I'm older, I have a...- Lex DeVille

Self-Doubt? This Is Your Competition
HOT! MINDSETBeen on this for about a week. My German is definitely improving. I didn't expect the app would have so many different approaches to learning. For example, typing translations and listening tasks are really helpful. I haven't had a need to speak German in nearly a decade and a half, but a lot...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONI still have courses that are live, but I don't actively tend to them anymore. They're on Udemy. Since I've stopped freelancing, I don't really have anything else to add. GOLD! HOT! EXECUTIONI don't have a % in mind right now. I'll test different price points to find out what works for the audience and what is profitable for me. I'm not just selling shirts.
