Lex DeVille's: One Thread For All My Genius, Unhinged, Mostly Really Bad Ideas
GOLD! OFF-TOPICFound out this morning I'm ranked #4 for AGF Adult NoGi White Belts in 2025. That's pretty cool. Double golds at AGF Springfield on Oct. 4th should put me in the #2 spot worldwide if I can pull it off.- Lex DeVille

Lex DeVille's: One Thread For All My Genius, Unhinged, Mostly Really Bad Ideas
GOLD! OFF-TOPICThere are a few business opportunities I like off the top of my head. Branded Fightwear & Gear Lines Seems like these can do well if they're launched by fighters who are active in their sport. There's a lot of opportunity for social media traction, especially if you sponsor rising talent...- Lex DeVille

Lex DeVille's: One Thread For All My Genius, Unhinged, Mostly Really Bad Ideas
GOLD! OFF-TOPICAGF OKC Over the weekend, I competed in OKC. The tournament was massive with over 2k competitors. Thankfully, kids went on Day 1, adults on Day 2. I drove an hour to meet with a teammate, then we carpooled 3.5 hours to OKC. Divisions & Matches I had 4 divisions and 8 matches - the most I've...- Lex DeVille

Let's Flip Stuff for Fun and Profit!
HOT! SIDE HUSTLEIt's been over a year, but I made my investment in that jewelry back many times over within a few months, and still have jewelry to sell. I listed some things for sell this week just cleaning out storage. One thing that surprised me was a used mattress. It's several years old. I've seen similar...- Lex DeVille

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATSaw an ad for Adobe AI that says it summarizes legal contracts so you don't have to read 1,000 pages of legal jargon. For instance, you might get the key points of a website's Terms & Conditions. Cool idea, if it weren't owned by Adobe.- Lex DeVille

Is Passive Income Less Attainable Than Before?
HOT! QUESTIONThere's still passive income in specialized info products for niche audiences. I wrote about this in an INE in the Insiders. You're looking for industries that require licensure to enter a career field, and where you have to take a proctored exam to get licensed. If there is an ongoing...- Lex DeVille

Martial Arts, Combat Sports, Self-Defense Systems - What Do You Practice?
HOT! OFF-TOPICI was helping teach kids class tonight and one of the kids was struggling with the movement for the Triangle. They said it's too hard. I told them to keep working at it and they'll improve. Came home and saw this Danaher post and it really resonated. It applies to a lot of areas of life.- Lex DeVille

Martial Arts, Combat Sports, Self-Defense Systems - What Do You Practice?
HOT! OFF-TOPICA lot of you know I train mostly BJJ with a side of kickboxing. Something I've come to appreciate over the last year is the "art" aspect of martial arts. As technique improves and attacks start to land or you avoid something that would've ended you not that long ago...there's an art to that. I...- Lex DeVille

Lex DeVille's: One Thread For All My Genius, Unhinged, Mostly Really Bad Ideas
GOLD! OFF-TOPICThanks, it's nice to have feedback about improvement since it can be hard to notice from one day to the next. An interesting thing is happening now that I'm close to 70 matches. It's like my senses are leveling up. More overall awareness of opp's legs, arms, and posture Improved sense of...- Lex DeVille

Lex DeVille's: One Thread For All My Genius, Unhinged, Mostly Really Bad Ideas
GOLD! OFF-TOPICGrappling Industries It's been 2 weeks since I competed and I'm ready. This weekend I head to Olathe for my first tournament in Kansas. Divisions: Gi: I was bumped up to a higher weight class, but there's only one opponent, so best 2 out of 3. NoGi: Only 1 opponent in this division too. NoGi...- Lex DeVille
