Question for MJ or anyone that has been on here awhile could answer

I absolutely swear by these 2 seminars: 1. UPW (Tony Robbins) - This got my mindset right. It's a bit 'out there', but it completely changed my life. 2. Traffic & Conversions Summit (Digital Marketer, Ryan Deiss) - Great for learning about Online Marketing, all of the latest tactics etc. - this...

Amity | Messaging App, comes out of 'stealth mode'

    WEB/DIGITAL
I think a lot of people go 'shotgun approach' sending generic emails to a stack of journalists; rather than working out who your ideal journalists are (based on their previous stories), and trying to build a relationship prior to you actually needing anything. It's time consuming, but you start...

Amity | Messaging App, comes out of 'stealth mode'

    WEB/DIGITAL
We've been getting a lot of media attention, we were featured at the top of TechCrunch as a featured article all of last weekend; plus plenty of other major outlets. The app is growing organically though, it has a lot of in-built sharing functionality; so obviously network effects kick in as we...

    Persistence. Serious persistence.

Amity | Messaging App, comes out of 'stealth mode'

    WEB/DIGITAL
It's funny, because we've had a number of write-ups on major publications (TechCrunch included) where it's been criticized as being 'clearly a paid advertisement' because it was overly positive. We're just taking it as a massive compliment haha

Amity | Messaging App, comes out of 'stealth mode'

    WEB/DIGITAL
Hey guys, We're off and running! Yep we're way past an MVP. Here we are on TechCrunch: https://techcrunch.com/2016/09/02/amitys-interactive-messaging-app-one-ups-ios-10s-imessage-and-works-on-android-too/ That article was featured as their top article all weekend. We got picked up by a stack...

Journey of the German - Building a web design agency

    EXECUTION
If I had to start again, with a web agency, I'd try this (not saying it'll work, but I did something kinda similar): - Go to an event like the ones by ClickFunnels or Digital Marketer (i.e. Traffic & Conversions Summit) - Meet heaps of 'consultants', they love going to this stuff. - None of...

Need to sell 110+ new Mercedes-Benz Cars below list price

Depending on your region, get your commission up to 15% (let's face it, the guy is still making plenty). Go and offer local boat dealers 10% commission for referrals, pocket 5%. They'll have plenty of contacts after the cars, especially if they pull the whole "Look, don't tell anyone, but I know...

Facebook Ads Pro ? Need Advice :)

    MARKETING
Cold sales are hard man. You might need to retarget your abandon carts; or these days you really need to create a lead magnet to build some trust and gather up a list you can market to. I'd recommend listening to the Perpetual Traffic Podcast, by Digital Marketer, it's solid.

Facebook Ads Pro ? Need Advice :)

    MARKETING
Doing the maths on that, you got 400 visitors for $40? That's only $0.10/click - so I'm going to take a stab and say you're targeting a pretty broad range of countries, and not super-specific on your targeting?

    Sam Ovens, Legit?

    GURUS
Wow. So you can be an 'expert' in Social Media just by being in the generation that grew up with it. Guess the 6 figures my company has put into FB Ads constantly learning in the last 6 months was pointless; we should've just been born a few years earlier or hired a 16 year old expert...

    Sam Ovens, Legit?

    GURUS
Sorry man I can't agree with this. Sam Ovens would be making money, as he has survived for quite some time; plenty of these gurus aren't. I know some; they've sunk $20k+ into this dream because some other guru told them they'd make it. That's why you see them pop up in your Facebook feed, and...

    Sam Ovens, Legit?

    GURUS
Solid point, but most of these gurus aren't making that much; nowhere what a decent business owner makes. Except maybe the top guys; like Tai Lopez. So many of these gurus were taught by guru guru's; and it's just filtered it's way down.

    Sam Ovens, Legit?

    GURUS
I'm in the Sam Ovens hater club. I've been spammed to death by his retargeting; and don't believe for a second he is anything more than a guru.

Amity | Messaging App, comes out of 'stealth mode'

    WEB/DIGITAL
Thanks for the kind words guys! Launch has been going well, stacks and stacks of emails collected for the pre-launch so far; so we'll be hitting the App Store with a burst of downloads on Day One (will easily surpass what Snapchat did in their first week). We always have the risk of our...

    Quiz on my website

    MARKETING
Have a read of 'Ask' by Ryan Levesque. It's free on Kindle for the next 48 hours. It walks you through the benefits of Quiz's, and how you should be using them. I used it very successfully in one of my businesses to segment my audience, and make my offer more targeted.

Amity | Messaging App, comes out of 'stealth mode'

    WEB/DIGITAL
This is just a teaser video. Compared with FB Messenger for example; we have live mode with additional interactivity, reactions, ephemeral emojis, photo filters, postcards, request functionality, plus lots of other little pieces. Considering WhatsApp's domination, we're a much more user friendly...

Amity | Messaging App, comes out of 'stealth mode'

    WEB/DIGITAL
Hey guys! I'm the Director of Marketing for Amity. As many of you know, I already have some very successful businesses, but one that I haven't been able to speak about up until now is Amity. It's a messaging app that is miles ahead of everything on the market - and has been developed by a team...
