Has the United States turned to sh*t?

    OFF-TOPIC
If I were to live anywhere else it would be the states. I've been to most of Europe and a handful of others but hands down driving across America was by far one of the best experiences of my life. Bit miffed I missed this when it was hot though, woulda been fun to wind up that idiot.

    INTRO
Moving to the states is going to cost. I believe it's the O1 visa you're looking at and that's like $100,000 minimum to invest in the business. I believe, worth double checking or even speaking with an immigration lawyer.

    Books that Changed Your Life

MJ's obviously. Influence and Pre-suasion by Robert Cialdini are great. Changed my view on interpersonal relationships and got me looking at how I was being mentally moulded every day without even knowing it. The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. Specifically the Void chapter where he...

    The Basics of Pricing

    NOTABLE! MARKETING
Question for you p̶r̶i̶c̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶e̶s̶t̶r̶o̶s̶ - pricestros; If I have a product and I want to create demand, are numbers that are bad for good-pricing going to be good for implying the product is going fast i.e. "only 17 left" is better than "only 20 left" because 20 is a nice, round...

Finding motivation when you have a 9-5

    NOTABLE!
Having started my working life in fields where 12-16hr shifts are normal, finishing a 9-5 feels like I have all day left. Perspective is what I'm saying. Probably the most important thing for productivity is when you work. You need to pay attention to yourself and when you are most effective. If...

Should I dumb down my content for people like @vigilante and @imgal?

    HOT! MARKETING
Can't you just test it? Write something short and punchy, then compare how it's received. Although you'd have to give it a fighting chance. Can't make a long form post on something great then a short punchy one on why you should eat 4 raw onions a day is what I'm saying.

    The Basics of Pricing

    NOTABLE! MARKETING
Another way to view that change @mikey3times is $12 to $14.99 is almost a 25% increase, which is significant. Also if sales do drop off, then you can put it on sale for $12. Which I would think would act to increase perceived value... Now your product should be worth the price you're asking...
