Social media apps make people sadder and more depressed. That's not an assumption of mine, but a fact backed by lots of studies: social media happiness - Google Search. If you want to be happier, then stop checking Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, etc now. Personally, I only use those apps for...

    Dropshipping vs Selling on Amazon

Amazon controls 43% of US online sales. That's why people prefer it. It also allows for more scale. Running an Amazon business and your own website is not mutually exclusive. You can create a brand and sell it on Amazon while simultaneously running a Shopify store or something similar...

Tim Ferris Helps A Student Launch a Business In Under 7 Days!

    MINDSET
I didn't get much value out of that video for a few reasons. Some thoughts: They're not starting a new business in a week, but optimizing an existing one (she didn't really change from a freelance yoga instructor to anything else) The beginning of the video with the whole "conquering your fears...

Location-independent/digital nomad lifestyle - ask me anything

    OFF-TOPIC
I get some of your points, and you can find women that accommodate this lifestyle, but it goes back to my point: "All of the issues described above are workable, but definitely harder to deal with than falling in love back home where geography is eliminated from the equation." Here's why I...

Location-independent/digital nomad lifestyle - ask me anything

    OFF-TOPIC
I've been traveling all year and can't agree with some of you guys on the dating aspect. It's a lot easier to get girls, but at a much higher emotional cost. There's nothing worse than finding a girl you really like and having to leave her because you're on your way to the next place. What...

$27M+ In Online Businesses Sold + Managing A Remote Team Traveling Abroad - Ask Me Anything!

    AMA
Had a great time with @empireflippers Justin the other night, and informally continued the AMA ;-) A couple points of interest that came up: I asked if it's best to move to the Philippines for a bit to set up a remote team or if online is fine. Justin said that online is more than fine...

    Massive Delays in Chinese Production

You need to start inventorying. Anytime there's a delay, you're not getting paid. That's an inefficiency and one that's easy to solve. Run a calculation on cash flow and the present value of holding inventory vs what you're currently doing (likely just in time production). If you lose a month...

    Massive Delays in Chinese Production

If any of your production inputs are pollution correlated, then expect increased costs. The price of aluminum jumped over 10% the past couple weeks. That's a result of the government shutting down 9% of the smelting capacity in all of China. Same for steel, brass, etc. In my limited opinion...
