Not Fulfilled? Depressed? Maybe You Need An Alignment
GOLD! MINDSETMyers Briggs picks me as an ESFJ. A lot of what the description on 16personalities says is true. Some of it not so much. But as I read it I can tell...I don't want to be the stereotype personality it describes. Now I have some direction. Another really good test I good was the DISC assessment...- RayAndré

Not Fulfilled? Depressed? Maybe You Need An Alignment
GOLD! MINDSET^ This is good. Its got me thinking. To add to this I would say yes, finding out who and how you really are. Not who and how you want to be, or have tried to be. And then not only choosing to live congruently to that, but building your life using those as building blocks. Build these into your...- RayAndré

Not Fulfilled? Depressed? Maybe You Need An Alignment
GOLD! MINDSETThinking about it, maybe its better to change the "Something I want to..."s above ^^ to "Something I already..." Hmm...should your values be something you see your best self as? Or something you are now, but might want to change? Something you would like to be/embrace? Or something you already...- RayAndré

Not Fulfilled? Depressed? Maybe You Need An Alignment
GOLD! MINDSETExcellent thread so far @eliquid and I'm not even all the way through it yet. Thank you. As you did, I'm going through a list of 600+ values to discover and refine my own list of 5. But how do you define a value? Here are the first thoughts that came to my mind: Something I want to embrace...- RayAndré

Developing skills sales
What about for someone who doesn't "need" to learn how to sell? I've got a regular 9-5 job and have always hated selling...so I probably suck at it. What can I do to learn? Get a sales job on the side? Start having tactics when trying to sell ideas to family and friends? Any ideas?- RayAndré

San Diego meetup anyone?
MEETUPSWhat's up Gravy! (Three words I never thought I'd put together as a sentence...) Cool, La Jolla has been a nice place to spend some café time getting work done and seems to be about halfway between Linda Vista and where I am. Its less crowded and easier to get to (traffic wise) in the evenings...- RayAndré

Creating Group For Practicing Sales Process
MEETUPS@Dunkafelics I'm interested to join! I don't have a product to sell, but not looking for ideas either. I would like to learn selling techniques and could definitely contribute as the person-who-doesn't-really-want-to-buy-anything approach during role-playing. If you'll just be practicing pitches...- RayAndré

Direction Searching
MINDSETThanks @Bdenner64 ...yea I've been working toward an MVP. When I started this app, I had no definite direction and just built ideas as they came to me. It soon had too many (lame/confusing) bells and whistles so I recently decided to focus its purpose and rip these out. The new, focused MVP...- RayAndré

Direction Searching
MINDSEThey fastlaners. My journey to living unscripted is just beginning. I'm almost 26 years old and a software developer. My salary is good. My bank/investment accounts are happy (though I seek a better long term investment approach). Entrepreneurship is totally foreign to me. My first idea toward...- RayAndré
