    Overcoming Fear and Lethargy

    MINDSET
Lol, I do agree with the 'exposure therapy' part. I'm just uncertain about the use of adderall. I've also found Nihilistic perspectives are sort of a double edged sword. On one side the meaninglessness allows us to see that the actions and consequences are so miniscule that execution is quite...

    Overcoming Fear and Lethargy

    MINDSET
I feel as though I do have clarity as to what I want. Just to be thorough, today I am putting every one of my goals into a new document and breaking it down like this: SMART GOAL: Specific: The goal that I want to achieve Measurable: The way I determine that the goal has been achieved...

    Overcoming Fear and Lethargy

    MINDSET
Thanks for the reply. I feel that it may be more lethargy than fear in my current case. I've noticed that with smaller tasks I can execute promptly, but for some reason I've been struggling to follow through on projects that require a longer time commitment. And logically I understand that a...

    Overcoming Fear and Lethargy

    MINDSET
Thanks for the quality reply. I enjoyed the exercise in that third bullet. I decided to have the questions and my answers in a notepad document that I can read anytime I feel like I am delaying action due to fear or lethargy. In theory I see how this could be effective. So I will try this...

    Overcoming Fear and Lethargy

    MINDSET
How do you personally deal with or overcome feelings of fear and/or lethargy? As of late, I have been falling short of my desired potential and haven't been acting/grinding as my higher self would prefer. Through self reflection and introspecting I believe at the root it is fear and lethargy...

How/Where did you learn how to start your first business without experience?

    INTRO
Each country will have it's own laws, regulations, and so on. If you can find a free non-profit business resource center in your area via a search engine, that could be a great way to help you navigate the less sexy administrative aspects of getting your business set up. If you are talking...

Any ideas or suggestions on how to start a business working from home?

    IDEA
If you seek to use the pre-existing knowledge you have in real estate: PRODUCT: Create and sell a book, course, or other piece of helpful content to a subset of the real estate industry. Ideally focus on a particular market as starting out broad will make it hard to compete in the space...

New Investor Getting Into It (A Small Tale & 2 Questions)

    REAL ESTATE
Thank you! :D Timeline for the turn around is going to be "dynamic". I am fine staying here for the next 6 months or even longer. I would say this is due to covid, but now, in addition to my main business, I just acquired a third party tech support service (without consent really... it's a...

How do i improve my communication skills?

    HOT! MINDSET
I too wish I had said things different or been a tad more strategic in my many approaches to communicate and sell. Don't try to change too much about yourself, but play to your strengths. Also, don't sweat the small stuff. If I over-analyze my own speech and behaviour I feel like I sometimes...

I found a free tool on Reddit called ImportYeti. You search a company and find it's suppliers. For example, I found who make's NorthFace's Jackets

    HOT!
Woah, this kind of blew my mind tbqh :jawdrop: I actually was just thinking about testing out a new little ecommerce venture and this could prove to be quite useful. Thanks for bringing this to my attention :)

Is it legal to sell modified themes?

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
I think I understand what you mean. Technically I believe you could do something like this if you modified enough of it. Obviously I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice. However, if you are simply using the fundamental syntax and structure of the html, css, js, other...

For the ones who HATE Coding.

    MINDSET
I would argue you could make a lemonade stand a fastlane business, although it wouldn't get a perfect CENTS score. But, I wouldn't scrutinize a lemonade stand business model so deeply. Eventually you can exit the operation of a service based business. I would argue that to be fastlane. Perhaps...

For the ones who HATE Coding.

    MINDSET
Yeah, there's tons of different businesses and markets. I believe seeing more coding related talk on the forums is likely due to these types of business owners being online throughout the day. But, maybe there's other reasons as well. Regardless, it does not mean we can't discuss something like...

New Investor Getting Into It (A Small Tale & 2 Questions)

    REAL ESTATE
I'm trying to amass a portfolio of properties of which I rent out for profit, increase my overall networth and build equity. I am at property number one, so my immediate goal is simply getting it ready to rent out and finding the next deal. Now ideally this next deal would be in a city and...

New Investor Getting Into It (A Small Tale & 2 Questions)

    REAL ESTATE
Hi everyone, So I'm buying my first property which I believe is a good deal for a 2 bed 1 bath home in a small village. My plan is simple. Move in, put a little into fixing it up/making it look nice, and then renting it out either to long term tenants or a bnb for hunters, snowmobilers...

Developing a Product For Municipal/Provincial Government

If one is considering developing a product that is moreso aimed at municipal/provincial government, is is better to create said product independently (and more expensively) or collaboratively? Technically it could be directed toward businesses and residents as well, but those are significantly...

Learn web design first or app development? I am a bit confused.

Everything gets boring, hard, or dreadful at some point. Especially on the micro level stuff... You can sell both services right now and see which one seems to be in more demand. As for the app idea you have right now... Perhaps you can build the MVP version of it as practice/skill training...

How will Coronavirus affect the Real Estate Market

    HOT! REAL ESTATE
I'm watching the prices of many properties in my province in 5 different areas. Still haven't really seen any large changes to any listings just yet. I am kind of hoping to find a good deal for myself. One thing that was crazy to me (a noob) was the price difference between two properties in...
