    SIDE HUSTLE
I get calls ALL THE TIME that are scams. Computer virus.. or about website..etc. etc. AND I get even MORE emails about website traffic, boost your star rating (IMDB thing), get more followers. .etc. etc. I wouldn't be able to weed out the good stuff in that sea of garbage nor do I have time...

    Investing in movies/film projects

So looked into this Section 181 - WOW. Anyone know someone with passive income like rentals that they would like to invest in a film with 100% deduction (passed through via K-1) and pay no tax on their passive income! Also after movie is sold or generating income it transformed that ordinary...

    Investing in movies/film projects

Bumping in here because there is great advice about film financing. I'm on a film project right now that got it's first money in 500k(non-equity) and looking to wrap it up with an additional 700k (equity) to begin filming. It's an 80s film that coverage came back the strongest out of all the...

Beware of PLS Literary Agency, Korea, FRAUD / SCAMMERS

    EXECUTION
I've seen this happen in the acting world where the agent (a legit company about to fall) kept the money. The agent has all the money and you have a 90% risk, whereas if you the talent/author took in the money then paid the agent, the agent only has a 10% risk. I've seen actors say the only...

Anyone else think basic coding is one of the most important skills new entrepreneurs could have?

    RANT
Very true! I know a website that an entire industry relies on and is international and only operates at about 10% of it's potential. If I had time (or a lot of money to throw at it) I would so design a much much better website. The obstacle is rolling it out and getting an entire industry to...

IDK if you are coding something .. that something is probably running while you sleep. So could be bringing in money long after you are done.

    Entrepreneur turned down $2 billion

    EXECUTION
Remember the Breyer's commercials where the kids could read the ingredients. Well.. now they call it "a frozen dessert" because it's not ice cream. It's gross and crumbles. That's how I noticed they changed it years ago. Now I buy ice cream from Trader Joe's. :) It's so yummy!

I guess it's different because he wants to make a course for entrepreneurs but the other thread was about the need for entrepreneurs to learn coding. Might be helpful to read the comments from the other thread is my point. -- Have a great day! EDIT: Wait.. there is a whole section on it...

    NOTABLE!
IDK on July 24, 1487 Citizens of Leeuwarden, Netherlands, rebelled against the ban on foreign beer. On the same day in 1132 Battle of Norcera between Ranulf II of Alife and Roger II of Sicily happened. On January 24th, 1848 James W. Marshall discovered a gold nugget at Sutter's Mill in...

No it cuts the signal ;) I've had friends that had tracking devices put on their phones. One guy didn't realize that it was 2-way and all of a sudden it popped up on her phone him in a meeting on the video. She could see and hear everything he was doing, but he was doing it to her. creepy.
