Tampa is closing shop. Kind of creepy. We're well prepared, and now starting the process of helping friends who are not. God did NOT give us a spirit of fear, so if you are one of the few here that have my number and are feeling fear, call me.

My son lives in Phoenix and I got him to go out tonight for some basic supplies. He called me when he got back and the description he gave me of his local grocery store (Camelback/Arcadia area) was pandemonium. If you are reading this thread please lay in some basic supplies. It’s not panic to...

Stock Market Crashes on Open, Circuit Breakers Trip

    NOTABLE! HOT! INVESTING
It’s amazing what’s happening because the margin calls are wreaking havoc on the stock prices. OTC stocks are dollar for dollar meaning they’re not marginable but they are used as collateral for margin accounts. Market managers in OTC stocks are backing off of the bid prices, watching margin...

In January, my entire household got wiped out with a sickness that lasted for three weeks. Vicious, headaches, cough and cold, respiratory system. We all got over it but it was one of the worst sicknesses any of us have ever had. Tested for the flu but the test came back negative.

PSA: Don't pursue sports betting as a means of generating income

    OFF-TOPIC
I am reading a book currently on horse racing gambling. One of the main premises of this book is in the old days you could use the racing form to look for angles and edges that would give you superior information over the general betting public. While that is still true, now your true...

Breaking news from my hometown. This morning they closed the first school in Tampa Florida due to someone affiliated with the school. They wouldn’t release the identity of the person for obvious reasons, but they did close down the school. Next week in our town is spring break for most children...

This forum and this thread has been the best source of consolidated news anywhere on this subject. In my opinion this is an interesting new chapter for this forum. Absent of a few dumbasses the give and take has been solid.

I was sitting in church on Sunday in the usual row, with my wife and kid in tow. Along comes 90 year old Martha, who (despite the row being otherwise empty and the church being moderately full) decided it would be a good idea to sit on my wife's lap. It was impossible to notice her snorting...

So all the airlines are emailing my frequent flyer email addresses, with essentially the same message. "Please keep flying." They state that they have air purifiers (LOL) and that they deep clean the planes overnight. I may not be a certified epidemiologist, but I have a few questions. 1...
